An effective boost without upsetting my stomach
I normally struggle with caffeine because it upsets my stomach. However, I do not get this with BELTER! I can take one before a meeting or before the gym, and it gives me the perfect boost without making me crash or feel unwell. They also have a nice taste without feeling uncomfortable in my gums.

Pouch quality.
The pouches do give you a good boost to keep you going, I’m just struggling with them because the pouches keep splitting within 2 mins of places under gum, which causes me to remove them prematurely. So I can’t get my full hit of caffeine.

interesting energy supplement
Really enjoying these thusfar. excellent alternative to energy drinks and a bit healthier. early days but I like what it does for me especially at work because its quite discrete. something about it being in my upperlip makes me feel a bit stimmed without the obnoxious look of chewing gum.

Q: Why haven't these been made before?
A: Because they're nasty. I was intrigued. Caffeine in a minty pouch, similar to the nicotine pouches my mate used to stop smoking. First challenge - get into the pot. However you think you need to do it, you're probably wrong. When I eventually popped the top off it was empty - turns out that this is the used pouch compartment, and I needed to go a level lower. There I was greeted by the little pouches. Just pop one under my lip? OK. Let's try this. The first impression was "oh this is weird, but OK". This gave way to "OH MY GOD THIS HURTS". The strength of the mintiness gave a really horrible freezing/burning sensation. I rode it out as long as I could, and after a couple of minutes it was just numb. I'd expect that numbness from a prescribed medicament, not a caffeine delivery system. Whether or not I got any caffeine benefit from them, I can't say, but as someone with a pot of 200mg caffeine tablets on my desk, an 80mg pouch is going to inevitably be weak sauce. The packaging mentions that they contain vitamin C, which is true, but I wouldn't recommend relying on these for your food supplement needs. Each little pouch contains (according to the fineprint) 2.5mg of Vitamin C, and in the UK the RDA is 40mg, so if you got your way through a whole pot in a day you'd be about covered (but would have ingested 1200mg of caffeine). Finally, the ingredients - after microcrystalline cellulose, they're predominantly various artificial sweeteners. A couple of the ones used (Xylitol and Neotame) can have repercussions for IBS sufferers - I've had a few IBS attacks over the years so I'll see how it goes. Can I recommend them? No. Sorry.
