MSI Forge GK310 Combo RED US - Gaming RGB Mechanical Keyboard & Forge Mouse Set
Took a chance on this relatively inexpensive and compact MSI mechanical keyboard and it turns out to be better than I imagined. Keys are slightly louder than my old non-mechanical Logitech keyboard but that is expected. The increased key touch pressure was minimal to get used to. Has some decent lighting effects but not at the individual key level. The round knob that controls sound and lighting effects isn't that well-documented and took me a few minutes to figure out since it can switch modes. After a few weeks I still like it and it feels like a pleasant upgrade from a non-mechanical keyboard. I would buy it again. Have not tried the mouse that came with it, yet.

Almost 5 stars
Very good product for the price. Works very well, feels well made. There is only a couple of things I dont like about this product. 1. there is no software to adjust RGB or customize the mouse/keyboard settings. 2. cords are shorter than most that i have used in the past, probably about a foot shorter. 3. the mouse wire is not very flexible. if i have anything on my desk i find the wire is strong enough to add resistance and mess me up in FPS games. With all that being said, I will 100% buy this again as long as it lasts longer than 1 year.

Good keyboard, bad mouse
Ive had this for about 2 months now and The keyboard works great. The problem is with the mouse. When I try and play any first person games where the mouse needs to move around fast it will randomly stop working for 3 or 4 seconds at a time basically making it useless

Great Basic setup
Great set up, RGB isn't customizable outside of the preloaded options but that's not why I purchased it. I needed a solid set up to use between my work system and my gaming PC and this is perfect. The mechanical keyboard works better than the Logitech ones I've had in the past and comes with extra switches incase there is a failure. The removal/optional cover makes it extremely easy to clean which is huge if you have pets that shed in any capacity. The mouse is a great "regular" weight and is solid plastic all around. No silicone/rubber to get gross and melty. I'm sure that there are better setups out there but for a workhorse that's going to see long hours of abuse this is a great choice.

Mouse was broken on arrival
The keyboard is decent for the price. The mouse button does not work and the cable is very short.

Great Keyboard, DOA Mouse, Middling Combo
Since this is a combo, the price, to me, is split down the middle 1:1 for the keyboard and mouse and $20-$30 for this keyboard is right on point. Keyboard works great, I love that the keyboard has both reactive and passive lighting. Some settings light up the keyboard based on what keys you're hitting, others, like "breathe" for example, happen passively regardless of where you type. The key caps are slightly smaller than my Razer Blackwidow, but nothing I can't get used to. Keyboard switches feel fine for the price point and very serviceable. They include a puller and 3 extra KB switches. It also has a magnetic cover, which my coworker thought looked great but I personally prefer the bare metal look of the keyboard without the cover. Mouse lighting is similarly variable with a ton of options. Which would be really cool to show off except the mouse is for all intents and purposes, useless. For whatever reason, the buttons are cross-wired. Left button left clicks but simultaneously activates the thumb back button, and that operation also works the other way, thumb back also activates left click. Middle click, activates middle click but also thumb forward, and forward will middle click. The DPI button activates right click and DPI switch. All this is to say the mouse is essentially useless. I also tried it with 5 separate computers to make sure it wasn't a software issue; my Surface Pro Tablet, my HP elitebook, my home theater PC, my personal gaming PC, and my Thinkpad work laptop. All had the same results. Since I essentially only got the keyboard, I can't justify the price of the combo for only the keyboard.
