The Casio Duro is a fantastic watch bargain but lacks a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. These low cost glass covers fit precisely, are crystal clear, and add a high degree of protection to the watch. They are thin and virtually invisible when installed. They also provide some protection for the aluminum bezel by raising the crystal a few thousandth above it. Everything you need to do it yourself (except a steady hand) is provided. Nice that you get an extra to replace a scratched or broken one (or a botched installation). Simpler and much cheaper than replacing with a sapphire crystal.

This "protective" disc scratches and cracks very easily, just by putting the watch face down on a table. Initially it was just scratches, very soon the edges became cracked and will cut you if you brush against skin(!). Avoid.
