Cut my cloning time in half!
The build quality is solid, and the fan does an excellent job keeping NVMe drives cool—while they do get slightly warm under load, it’s nothing unusual. This isn’t the most portable option, but it’s perfect for a dedicated workspace setup. It cut my cloning time by about half compared to my previous solution, making it a huge time-saver. Highly recommended for anyone who regularly works with NVMe drives.

Fast enough
I seldom go into the performance because unless one can validate every component used can perform at the optimal 40Gb, then honestly it is a moot point. All I can say is that to clone a standard 1TB (480GB used) 2.5" SSD drive vs a Nvme 1TB with the identical data used. This one finished about 20% faster than my old Sabre 2.5" SSD clone dock. That is good enough for me. We are going have to trust that the vender can achieve promised speed at the lab. It is a little expensive, honestly, It does do what it promised to do which is clone another drive. SSD runs hot even with the heatsink and fan running. The temp tests was about 62C, maybe my house is hot as well. Anyways, I was able to test cloning TB NVMe drives, it does work without PC. Works for me and well.

Decent dock for occasional use but feels cheaply made.
This review is for the "GRAUGEAR NVMe M.2 SSD Duplicator Dual-Bay Offline Clone Tool-Free, 20Gbps USB C to M.2 SSD Drive Cloner Docking Station Adapter Enclosure for M2 SSD Hard Drives M-Key" that I ordered via the Vine program.I've been looking for a NVMe cloning/docking station for a while now and this one seemed to have the features I wanted. It has recognized and provided access to any NVMe drive I've plugged into it. Access speeds have been acceptable but not record setting. I haven't tried the offline cloning function so I can't speak to that.I did notice that the drives get very warm under heavy use, particularly when not using the included heat spreaders which are very fiddly to work with and are secured via rubber bands. I was hoping that the fan setup with the clear surround would provide decent cooling, but it didn't seem to make a noticeable difference.Overall, the unit is light weight and cheaply made. I don't see the support tabs lasting very long unless extreme care is used when inserting or removing the drives. The clear tube simply sits on top of the unit rather than physically connecting in any way. The dock does come with everything needed for use, but the heat spreader solution seems like an afterthought. The unit certainly provides an easy-to-use dock for quick access to drives not installed in a device which is what I mostly need it for. I'm wary of its build quality but only time will tell how long it lasts. I was hoping for a better cooling solution, but so far, the drives haven't gotten warm enough to thermal throttle during use. So, based on my experience, I can still recommend this device.

Seemed like high quality but my SSD didn’t appear
The docking base / cloning station seems like it’s well built but the one I got must have been defective because it didn’t register on my computer so I was unable to use it to format the new drive. As shown in the instructions. Because of that I returned it.

Easy to use
Super easy to use and does exactly what it claims. I use this to quickly and easily upgrade from a 1 TB to a 2 TB SSD without all the time and effort that it had required in the past to make and load images. Definitely happy I picked this up.

Works great!
Easy to use, you don't have to have it plugged into a computer to use, and its fast! I like that it has a fan and heatsinks, because when I tried to use my old USB m.2 connector the drive got super hot and slowed way down. this allowed the drive to work quickly while keeping it cool. It's also quiet.Great tool if you are working on computers and need an easy way to upgrade your Nvme to a larger model, or if you need to change it out because its not working so well and nearing the EOL of the older drive.

LED indicators suck, an LCD status indicator would be much better!
I love that this device has a cooling fan to blow air across the nVME ssds, and the fact that the nVMEs can have heat spreaders installed (unlike some other stupidly designed disk cloner that I've had to return) I also like that this unit doesn't have useless dump RGB lights like the other one that I ended up returning. However, I really dislike the status indicator lights as they are really hard to understand if the disk cloning process is stuck, in progress, or finished. They should've used a little lcd screen instead to provide better information. After starting a cloner from 4TB -> to 8 TB disk, it was very hard to know if the procedure was stalled or never going to start progressing, as the included instructions were very sparse and actually inaccurate, as it stated that after pressing and holding the cloner button, then pressing once more after the progress leads start lighting in a back and fourth motion, that then just the 25% light should start flashing, however this was not the case and led me to believe something was wrong. It probably took a good 10 minutes or so before the 25% light illuminated, which finally gave me hope that some sort of progression was occurring. Finally, additional progress lights would illuminated, However apparently when the procedure finished, all the % progression lights went out leading me to wonder if the process bombed out / failed or just completed nominally. It would've been a better design that all the status % lights remain illuminated, with the 100% status light staying solid (never noticed if it even got to 100% because when I stopped watching it for a moment and looked back it was already done I guess. So it is not clear if it just fails prematurely or actually finished normally. ) the design of the status indicators are stupid. It really should be an LCD instead where information can be presented in a much better way.
