I is great but the only issues I was having was YouTube, it was closing on its own. I try see if it needed an update but I end up installing a different YouTube. But beside that do far everything is working good.

The stripped down android operating system, even though it lists as version 11, is really slow, buggy and hard to use, as is the main launcher screen. Many apps that I use on other devices either won't load, won't run or lock up. New app download and installation takes forever. The device reboots randomly and gets very hot, even runs warm when placed on a cooling fan. It takes a long time to boot and displays "load" on the front display for more than a few minutes sometimes when powering up. The device does not respond well to the remote controls that came with it in many apps. Also the headphone jack is very sensitive to how far a plug is inserted or it will only play one channel, and I have tried different plugs with the same results. I am not very happy with this android box. Even though it is very cheap it should work better than it does.

This is by far the best android tv box i've owned. it is very fast and responsive. it has a great remote that is very fast and responsive and it doesn't have to be pointed directly at the box. it is true android and you can load apps directly from the play store or from other sources such as unlinked. download speed was well over 200 mbps/sec so it doesn't take all day to download and customize. i have 2 new 4k smart tvs but this makes the experience so much easier and better. iptv works great and doesn't have much buffering whatsoever. movie apps work great and you can enjoy the latest movies and tv shows easily by installing easy to install apps. this box doesn't have the glitches some of the other android tv boxes have. i am ocd about performance and the box fits the bill. if perchance something happens to this one, i would order another just like it. also, the remote is the best i have used. i highly recommend this device. try and i believe you will feel the same way

This is a decent box. Doesn't come with bloatwares. Doesn't come with a video app like other boxes. This box is fast enough to make the web browser usable. The things that I don't like about this box is that it is not rooted. I will also not able to remember default apps and settings. For example, I've installed a different launcher and set it as default. However, every time I boot up the box, it'll ask me which launcher to run. Also apps which was set to run at boot will not run automatically at boot. Lastly, to shut down the box by pressing the Power button for 2 seconds, it works...but that shut down menu sometimes take many seconds before showing up.

I wanted blue tooth for wireless game controllers. It won't support more than one active connection which means single player only unless you go wired. The Blue tooth connection was difficult to setup and won't always auto connect. Software in general was difficult to setup. I don't do the Google play store and the Native app store doesn't work. Had to use APK installation from a flash drive. The file manager only has access to user folders which is acceptable for most things, but it's a challenge for setting up MAME emulators and profiles. It's worth the money if you can figure it out.

UPDATE: Removed another star for continued booting issues. The box refuses to power up most of the time now, I have to unplug the power and re-plug to get it to boot. Maybe it will boot on its own 1 out of 5 times. I am impressed with the interface, the box is Google Certified so you can definitely see that same quality you would built into smart televisions. I have had no issue using any of the built in apps and installed a couple of my own without trouble. Google voice works well. Occasionally the box will not turn on with the remote, unplugging the box from power (the wall) and plugging it back in seems to clear the issue. So far this happens about once a week. Overall this box works well and is a great value. UPDATE EDIT: Tried viewing movies from a hard drive and USB stick, can browse some, but very flaky and unreliable. Could not get any movie to play from any drive. They play fine in my other television that does not need this box. SO the box is good for apps, streaming, not good for hard drive movies.

Do not buy this garbage, do not buy this garbage, do not buy this garbage, do not buy this garbage. I have never bought a worse piece of technology. It is buggy, has one of the worst interfaces ever, and has no guide on how to use it. It randomly disconnects attached media, randomly stops working and goes to blue screen and has to be unplugged before working again, among many issues. There is no way to change aspect ratio, no way to turn subtitles on or off. Considering how many similarly priced products out there, it must have been a race to rip off working products. Do not buy this garbage. Update - at the 6 month mark, it completely stopped working. I've tried resetting it, trying anything I can, nothing works. It only has a 30 day guarantee.
