This set came with three pieces all contained in a graphics free Altoids-style metal tin. This includes two clippers and a nail file.While each of the pieces seems to be constructed really well, I found them awkward to use. The one that I assume is primarily for toenails is so wide and flat that it tended to make straight lines rather than curve at all with my nail. The other is slanted. The description says it's well built for ingrown nails, and that may be true, but I rarely get them. Instead, for normal nails, again, they're just awkward to use. Using in my right hand, the left side of my left nail will go pretty well. However, now I need to get the right side of that same nail and you really have to come back at an awkward angle to get it. I tried flipping it upside down but that didn't seem to work too well either.Kudos on quality of construction for these clippers but I'm afraid I'll be sticking with my old ones.

It is "sharp." You have to exert extra strength to cut toe nails. I've used a tweezers to cut my nails and i don't have to try too hard. It does cut the nails wider. I feel if it was straight and not curved would make cutting toe nails better.
