Maybe worth super glueing the Velcro to your shoes
These look super great, and worked almost perfectly. I was using them for my Tahoe 200 endurance run, which is notorious for being dusty. People say that if you don’t use gaiters, you will have to empty your shoes every few miles. It’s no joke, and these worked amazing. Unfortunately, I did not take the extra measures to ensure the Velcro was secured to my shoes to the best of their abilities. Due to this, around mile 150 the Velcro ripped off my shoes, rendering these only about 75% useful. Still better than not having them! I will be smarter next adventure.

One-Size Actually Fits All (A Truly Universal Product)
I owe this product a review. I wear size 16 shoes and my primary jogging shoes are Hokas with really thick soles. I had tried multiple other shoe gaitors, and none of them supported my shoe size, nor my Hokas. I had lost hope in being able to eliminate pebbles from finding their way into my shoes while trying to exercise. This product changed all of that. With the peel-and-stick velcro that comes with this product, ANY shoe, and any shoe size, is compatible with this shoe gaitor. I commend this product for truly being accessible to all shapes and sizes, and for reinvigorating me for my exercise journey.

Stretch over the ankle well and slip off easily
This is my favorite trail gaiter. I have Altra shoes and these fit better than the Altra gaiters. I like the ankle opening on these, they are soft and stretch over the ankle great. Improvements need to be made with h to lace hook though. It will slip and hang on crooked, but it’s all aesthetics and no functional quality issue.

Total Joke
These might work for a walk around the block but they certainly don't work for actual hiking. The Velcro attachment is a complete farce. Save your money, keep looking.

Comfortable and sleek
These are very lightweight, very comfortable, easy to use. They stay put really well. No pine needles or little rocks can get in my hiking shoes anymore. They don't snag on branches or rocks. They washed up well (I hand washed them just in case).

Style and Function
These gaiters are made of a material that is comfortable to wear and seems like it would be resilient to long periods of wear and tear on the trail. Machine washed with no issues. I like that the upper cuff hugs around the leg as compared to styles that might not be as structured. Got lots of compliments on these while wearing them in New Mexico on the CDT!

writing titles is the hardest part of a review
If you own Altras, I'd give this 4 stars. If you don't, I'd give it 2 stars. This has a lot of potential and is just a few tweaks from being awesome: 1. I love the band at the top. Most gaiters have a drawstring, but the band is comfortable, won't ride down your leg, and has a better seal. 2. I don't know why they used white for the front hook. It really stands out, and makes the whole product look cheap. 3. I like the burgundy/plum (maroon/red) color. I'm so sick of athletic gear colors/designs being so obnoxious. This blends in very well with the earthy colors I wear. 4. I wish the bottom skirt was bigger. I ordered the biggest size for my size 13 shoes, and it was super tight. There's no way that it would stay down and cover my shoe opening (I don't wear Altras). Other products have straps to keep the skirt down, but this just depends on the velcro on the back, which isn't going to stay in place if you're depending on the sticker attachment instead of a shoe that comes with the velcro, like Altras. 5. The back velcro is also white, not only on the inside, but also on the outside. Huh? Is that in case you put the gaiter on inside-out? Regardless, that's just going to get dirty and look like crap. 6. It's very lightweight. It weighs 1.55 oz (with tag). The OrrinSports weighs 2.3 oz, and the Kahtoola Low weighs 2.83 oz.
