Before I finally landed on this chair I read about a million articles with buying advice for ergonomic desk chairs, looked for second hand expensive chairs, read so many Amazon reviews. Obviously you can spend a whole lot of money on an ergonomic desk chair (even used ones), but I really didn't want to. I just bought this today, so the jury is out on long term wear, ,but I can say that the components feel solid, assembly was easy, it is *very* comfortable so far, and -- even more to the point -- VERY adjustable in so many different ways that physical therapists etc recommended in the articles I read. I am 5 foot 5; in order to put the chair at the right ergonomic height for my particular desk and keyboard, I need a footrest so my feet aren't dangling. But that would be the case with any chair in my setup. The headrest is great, the arms are soft and comfortable, the back support piece is perfect, and everything can be adjusted as you sit in it. Rollers are quiet and stable on laminate floor. The box was a good size and heavy enough (~32 lbs) to be awkward for an unfit middle aged lady to wrangle down apartment steps; however, the Amazon driver brought it straight to my door. The chair was carefully packed. Whoever wrote the assembly instructions (which are in English and Spanish) for this chair is some kind of technical writing genius -- I have never seen clearer or more easy-to-follow instructions. From slicing open the tape on the box to finished chair was 45 minutes for me. All you need for assembly is included -- also fabric gloves (for protecting your manicure? I guess?) and extra bolts and washers. Super buy. If I'd known I could get such an affordable and massive upgrade from my previous garbage chair I would have done it long ago. Great value for the money. I rarely write reviews but all the reviews I read helped me make a great decision, so here ya go.

This is probably the nicest chair I've had in a very long time. I will never shell out hundreds for a herman miller and I thought that getting this would be a decent but not great chair. I was very surprised. Easy to put together, very sturdy, very comfy. I am 6'4" and 235 and this works great for me.

It’s been over a year since I bought this and have decided to write my review. My experience with this chair during this time- since I bought it and up till now is overall good experience. It’s not the greatest chair out there available on the market, but especially for the price and usability, I would say it was worth it. A few Pros worth mentioning: • adjustability • comfortable cushion • lightweight and easy to move around A few cons worth mentioning: • No reclining- just a “rocking back and fourth” which you have to twist below the seat to adjust the sensitivity- which I find very tedious, tiring, and long. • Headrest is honestly not the best and kind of protrudes your head forward a bit- although adjustable, still not as comfortable as I would like. • Cushion will eventually wear out- BUT not too much and still lowkey comfortable, but I started to felt the need to change my sitting position more overtime. As stated before the chair is decent- especially for the price. For me personally, I love that the seat encourages you to sit up straight and nicely, but naturally, it does get “tiring” after a bit of time. Even then, not sitting the way it intended to- is ironically the most comfortable way to sit on it. The seat does not get too hot which is also nice. If the chair had actual reclining, this chair would be perfect. Also, the chair has some decent height adjustability aswell. The building process was easy and didn’t take that long to do. Overall, if you needed something that was comfortable enough, cheap, and reclining is not a need, I would recommend this chair.

For the price this seems to be an amazing chair. I literally put it together in 30 minutes. It is packaged extremely well and the directions are very clear and they include a very helpful Allen wrench with a handle on it. Once sitting in the chair, I was very pleased with the support. I will know more tomorrow when I use it for work all day at home. The headrest is amazing and very adjustable. It rolls very smoothly. The seat and the back are both extremely comfortable. I literally have no complaints. I would say the only thing I might worry about is that the arm adjustments don’t adjust to different heights. They can, however, be put completely up out of the way 90° towards your shoulders and the armrest themselves rotate a little bit, but in terms of where your elbows go, that’s not adjustable. But for the price I paid I’m fairly pleased enough to give it five stars for right now.

This chair was not only pretty easy for one person to put together, it is very comfortable especially on the upper legs. Smooth rolling. Comfortable sitting. Easy to set settings on chair for height, lumbar, head support and arms. The chair is sturdy. it is rated for >200 pounds. I believe it is 300. The instructions are well done. Great pictures as well as broken out into simple steps. Wish more installation manuals were as easy to read.

I know not if I am just overweight. Or what is going on but after using the chair for about a month I started to have pains in my tail bone. I am still giving this a 3 star at least and not a one star as I may have a physical condition outlying this but it is weird that after I got the chair it happened. And other office chairs do not seem to cause the pains. The chair itself is comfortable I do not feel pain while using it. the arm rests are a good height and seem a decent material and should last a while. All in all seems like a good chair. I could see myself truly recommending it for a temp chair for short sitting at a desk sessions.

Bought this as a gift for my husband as his previous chair had broke. Pros: Fairly easy to put together. I did this by myself in about 40 minutes. Directions are very easy to follow. Comfortable to sit and lean back Adjustable height easy to use Con: Neck rest is not adjustable Unfortunately when my husband sits in the chair (6’0 tall) his shoulders nearly come to the top of the neck rest, hitting it awkwardly and making it uncomfortable. He can’t lay his head back at all as it just hits awkwardly. When I sit in it (5’5 tall) my neck hits perfect to rest in the neck rest. We tried to see if we could adjust this but unfortunately there is no option. We wish there was an option to adjust the neck rest higher or lower as needed for the user.
