My beagle has BIG accidents inside our home. His urine smells terrible and spreads all over the tile floor. It was so bad we were considering giving him away but when we found this, we kept him. You spread it BESIDE the mess and if you watch carefully, it attracts the liquid . Mix it in and it absorbs, no liquid and dampness left behind. There is no odor to this powder, and I'd say it actually leave no odor from whatever no mess you had. I've found that sometimes my dog's urine odor will stick around, but with a quick mopping with scented bleach, it's all gone. The price is very reasonable because you do not need much powder because it does such a great job. I've bought this twice now. It lasts me about a month or so, but if your pet doesn't have accidents as frequently as mine due to separation anxiety, it'd last much longer. I'd definitely recommend it!

I rarely write a review but I feel like I can add value here. I had a large oil spill in my garage when I took apart my motorcycle. At least 2 1/2 quarts of oil. It was looking bleak and messy. I ordered this and spread all over the oil. An hour later, I swept it up and it absorbed all of the oil and only left a dry stain behind. It was pretty easy to clean up. It does track so use shoes you can take off and clean before going into the house. The price is very cheap. I ordered more to get old oil spots. I would definitely give it a shot if you need absorption.

Pretty good product, it does absorb pretty well and quickly. I just wish it was an odor absorbent as well. I used it to clean up one of my dogs vomit and it worked but did not take away the smell. Obviously I always swiffer or use sanitation wipes for that issue but a deodorizing powder would be nice too. Just a thought

If you have little ones or are clumsy (like myself) then this powder is a must! We use it at my job which involves stocking shelves (sometimes things bust open and spill) .. Huge spills are easily cleaned up like "magic" ... just pour a little powder in front of a spill and begin sweeping. The powder ubsorbs all moisture. Add powder as needed. Scoop up in a dustpan. .Then just toss the used powder out. Cons: floor will be somewhat gritty afterwards and smell of whatever was spilled will still be present . Pros: this stuff is amazing and will save you headaches, time, and money on paper towels lol

Keep a pack in case of emergencies

All right. First of all, I'm aware that this isn't really what you're supposed to use this product for, but I've been using this stuff to suck up excess water outdoors where we've got lots of drainage issues (particularly where the concrete has sagged or buckled or cracked from being 40 years old and in easy driving distance of the San Andreas fault line), and it's been a big help in reducing the perpetual mud/standing water problems and nasty algae and mildew stains that I've been slowly trying to get rid of this last half year. I like that it's just <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aluminium_silicate">silicate dust</a> so I don't really have to worry about the environmental impacts if a little of it makes its way into the dirt over time, though it's so light it tends to just sit on top of anything it's poured on, even when it's absorbed something which makes cleaning easier. It also seems to work better than the stuff from the big box hardware stores, thus five stars (I would rate the other at a 3, for the record).

I wanted to wait about 2 weeks before submitting my review. I was genuinely surprised by the quality and volume of this absorbent powder. I did quite a bit of research. I think we've all been there. You scroll and scroll and filter out items by star rating and even price and even then you have your doubts. I narrowed it down between this and three different items and did a comparison of all four. In the end, this one had the better reviews and it was also aesthetically with the reusable container, when compared to the other three. There really isn't enough time in the day to review things but this was actually worth taking a moment to share and maybe helping others cut down the time they search. I am certainly glad my search is over. LOL

Had to use it on a spill the day it arrived. It does not absorb very aggressively. I have used many better products. I even left it sit overnight with no improvement. I brushed it around, but it stopped making progress so I swept it up and replaced it with another product, which did the job. The container is nice and I will refill it with the other stuff.
