ARKANTOS Foldable Pilates Reformer, Pilates Machine & Equipment for Home use I Suitable for Beginners and Intermediate Users

I’ve gotten used to high quality studio reformers- so I’m basically comparing this reformer to those. I like that it comes with the jump board and box- also comes with a trampoline. The set up was not too complicated, took my husband and I about an hour. The ability to fold is nice- we have it in our guest room- and I *dont think* getting it out of the way will be too hard. I can do all the same movements I would in class with some adjustments. 1. Things I wish were a bit different- It should be about a foot longer - I’m 5’2 and feel scrunched between my feet and the shoulder pads in resting position. Also, it makes getting bigger/ smooth jumps really hard. I’ve never crashed into the top before, but I definitely did on my first jumps on this. I don’t think my husband at 5’11” is going to be able to jump at all. 2. I’m not a fan of the pleather hand straps. They feel flimsy and like they have give that shouldn’t be there. I will most likely upgrade those 3. It’s not super smooth to move on. They send oil for the rollers/ metal area and you most definitely need to use this. Otherwise it’s like pushing through sand. But even when oiled it’s not quite as smooth. All in all it’s fine. It works. I’ll be able to practice at home without spending over 200 a month to go to classes. But I likely will upgrade at some point.

This reformer was easy to assemble and came with everything needed to put it together plus extras. Additional items include a Sitting Box plus three interchangeable parts that insert near the adjustable, padded Foot Bar (padded full-sized Jump Board, padded smaller Foot Board and Trampoline). It also comes with a small oil squeeze for the rails. The five springs work well, and perform just as well as the studio reformers. The pulleys and straps are adjustable and work as expected. The material is just fine for home use. Overall craftsmanship is pretty good! The reformer came nearly assembled with only a few parts to put together – super easy. It is foldable, and has wheels. I was able to move it around with no trouble. It comes with removable floor pegs – which is the part of use I don't love. If you fold it up and down frequently, the legs need to be taken off and put back on each time. I wish these were collapsable or could fold down and up easily. I just leave them off – which is not ideal for full stability. I make it work. This reformer seems a little shorter than the studio reformers, so if you're tall – range of motion may be a little less. Overall – great purchase for the price!

Excellent product for the price! Would’ve loved if it was a bit longer to be able to move even further and the straps a bit thicker. Other than that, it’s great!

Just as good as the the Pilates studios. Easy to put together, does take about 45-60 min. Solid quality so far. Let’s see how the PU holds up long term.

I have had the pilates reformer for four days and I'm kicking myself for not buying it sooner. I have used it every day and it is amazing, sturdy and functions like an expensive machine.
