Non-toxic and perfect for the family! Took on holiday and none of us got burnt. It’s easy to apply, can have a white cast but keep rubbing in and it goes.

Natural Sunscreen with SPF 25 - offers good sun protection when careful with application and reapplied as needed. I have bought this Shade sunscreen a few times and will definitely buy it again. It is very portable in the tin, no worries about liquid spillage. Easy to apply, may leave a white residual on the skin but that is just the zinc oxide which provides the protection. It does have a scent to it, which my partner did not like but as my sense of smell is non existent, it did not bother me at all. I will take that over chemical filled sunscreen. Lasted me 7 days on holiday this year.

Used on African Holiday. Worked wonderfully. Its a chemical free, natural sunscreen aha really works!! The tin contains a solid white cream that is fragrance free. It was hot where i was so it was smooth to apply but I imagine in colder weather (ski resorts etc) you might need to rub the surface a little to warm it up. I was worried that the oils and butters would have been to greasy for my face but i was fine and suffered no breakouts as a result of using it (though when in the UK my skin tends to be on the drier side, so if you have oily skin test it out first). I have darker skin so I found that this does leave a whitish/ grey residue- due to the non- nano zinc, fair skin may not experience this problem. However, I found that this can be minimised in 2 ways; 1) Exfoliate your skin before using it. I found out this works by accident. After 2 days of grey tinge on my face (i looked as though i was getting ready for some kind of tribal ceremony), on the third day I applied the screen after I had washed my face with a face scrub and I found the product was able to absorb into my skin much better, so there was really very little whiteness left behind. 2) Use the screen 20-30 mins before you are ready to go out. I found that after this time, the whitishness faded. esp. when the weather was very hot. And don't be put off by the size, it lasts for ages! I was away for 3 weeks and still have 80% left (just me using it). I love the fact that there are no nasty chemicals and so few ingredients. It is not fragranced I got no burnt bits and no heat rash and this was in 34 degree heat!! I would recommend reapplying if you plan to swim or if you sweat a lot but i did not do either of these things and only applied twice per day and was fine. I would definitely recommend.

Bought this product due to it being all natural and non toxic. It does what it is supposed to however I found it very thick and hard to work in. This made it virtually impossible to use on my 4 year old and even nearly on myself. I bought during the recent heatwave in June so even in heat it didn't appear to soften for me. The white cast was also very prominent which provided peace of mind regarding coverage but even a few hours later I still looked pale (face). Again this is a positive for longevity and coverage however, I couldn't get on with it, it felt very heavy on and my 4 year old eventually refused to let me apply it. Sadly not suitable for use personally despite reallt wanting to love it.

Absolutely does what it says without the chemicals you get in high street brands. It goes on quite thick to start but spreads nicely to give good protection. Great protection in hot Mediterranean conditions.

Terrible sunscreen. Arrived weeks late even though it said delivered. Has a pungent smell that doesnt fade, I ended up adding rosemary oil and that barely masked the smell. Works for UK sun but not abroad. Applies like a paste and barely rubs in, but that doesn't mean its long lasting. Would not recommend. I like the idea of only having 4 natural ingredients but I this one is not a great one.

I'm allergic to mainstream brands of sunscreen so this is a little gem find for me. Made from simple ingredients it's much kinder to your skin than applying all those unpronounceable chemicals in regular sunscreens. I apply it to myself and my children and we are all very fair skinned. It protects efficiently, just be careful to check your sun exposure until you find out for yourself how much protection it gives for you. It hasn't got a high sunscreen "factor", but it's simple enough to just reapply as you need to. Having been used to sunscreen in a lotion format it was strange at first opening a tin and seeing a solid looking paste inside. When the weather is warmer it melts and applies easier. If you are using it for skiing weather you just need to warm it a little in your hand before applying. It's not difficult to apply as it melts on contact with your skin and then spreads quite easily. At first I was applying way too much in quite a thick layer, but I later found this wasn't necessary. This cream is effective as long as you make sure you've applied it properly ( like any sunscreen). I actually got a patch of sunburn in a small patch I'd missed on my arm, so I knew the cream had been effective in protecting the rest of me. It doesn't smell like a regular sun cream as it is unscented , but has its own light pleasant smell - like baby zinc oxide cream. I love the option of the handy pocket sized small size tin to carry around. The large size though is better value and is still slim enough to slip into a bag.

This is a 5* item, im quite fair skinned so have always used suncream, but without fail every year I have gone abroad after just 1 day in the sun I have ended up with polymorphic light eruption which has then ruined my holiday. I used this sun screen for the first time last year and not only was it amazing for my skin I didn’t erupt in itchy blisters! So using it again this year, it’s amazing I don’t burn I end up with a great tan and I get to enjoy my holiday.

Esta bien xq no contiene toxicos ni disruptores, eso si, es pastosa, yo la llevo en el coche y del calor se ablanda pero si la tienes en casa hasta cuesta coger, deja blanco pero las que no dejan son las toxicas asi que bien

Wer auf natürliche Produkte steht, ist mit diesem Sonnenenschutz bestens bedient. Es sind wirklich nur 4 Inhaltsstoffe enthalten. Es lässt sich super verteilen, hinterlässt keinen weißen Film, wie man es von anderen Mitteln kennt. Der Duft ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber das liegt an der Zusammensetzung, verfliegt aber schnell, wenn man es aufgetragen hat. Klar ist auch, daß es regelmäßig aufgetragen werden sollte, zb. wenn man stark schwitzt oder im Wasser war. Auch sollte es einige Zeit vor dem Sonnenbad aufgetragen werden. Das alles steht aber auf der Dose. Deshalb, wenn die Creme was nutzen soll, haltet Euch an die Vorgaben. Es ist kein Wunder, das man sich verbrennt, wie es in einer anderen Rezession bemängelt wurde, wenn man nicht regelmäßig nachcremt oder damit extrem sonnenbaden geht. Das ist absolut nicht das Produkt Schuld sondern schlicht und ergreifend der Benutzer selbst! Ich finde diese Creme echt klasse und werde sie mir gleich noch mal bestellen.
