Since being diagnosed with macular degeneration a year ago, it was becoming more and more challenging to read the time on my current clock in the middle of the night. My long time alarm clock had large numbers, but they were red and my eyes couldn't adjust to the disappearing figures. This clock, with it's perfectly large sized illuminated numbers, offers a bright light that also serves as a night light (it's dimmable if you don't like it that bright). It's simple and easy to use. Setting up the time and alarm time is easy; every button is right on the front of the clock. There is a choice of 4 alarm sounds and a volume button. I love waking up to a soft chiming sound. The smaller size is perfect for my little end table and the connecting cord is small in diameter. The price is also awesome! I LOVE this clock!

I was struggling to find a decent looking bedside clock on Amazon, where most of the cheaper options seemed like cheap throwaways bound for the landfill. I just wanted something that was easily legible, minimalist, and could adequately dim so as to not bother me while trying to fall asleep at night. This checks all the boxes, and then some. Although the clock itself does not take up much space and is quite compact and flat, the digits are relatively large format making the clock easy to read from across the room, while simultaneously not being too big to glance at while in bed. The segmented digits are large, sharp, and uniformly backlit (unlike the clock faces you'd expect from a cheap digital clock like a Timex) leading to an incredibly clear and sleek display. Though I wish it had an auto-dimming feature, the manual dimming control is quite functional. The large, top-mounted snooze button doubles as a dimmer switch. You simply cycle through to the desired brightness (there are five levels, and the 6th turns the display off completely). The lowest setting is incredibly dim, and does not bother me in the slightest when trying to fall asleep. The alarm itself is quite functional, with multiple tones to choose from and several volume levels. The loudest is REALLY loud, probably too loud--they even warn you in the manual to avoid this setting at first since you might get startled. But I guess this is good if you're the type of person who could sleep through a bomb going off. The extra ambient light strip on the bottom of the display is a nice touch if you have the clock in your office or something, but I find it a bit too annoying to keep on in the bedroom even on the lowest brightness (the light strip's brightness control is separate from the actual clock display, which is nice). You can set it to several static colors or set it to an animated rainbow cycle. You can turn it off completely if this isn't for you. Not sure what else needs to be said. USB powered, battery backup, extra USB port on the back for charging. It's well designed and feature packed for the price. edit: note: The battery is only there to maintain the time in memory if you move the clock or lose power. It must be plugged into a USB power source to display anything. Doesn't affect me, but should be something to be aware of.

I just wanted something to tell me the time. I wanted to see it from across the room. I have my cell phone for an alarm if I need it. I really like this clock. It’s not expensive, but it doesn’t feel cheap. It feels sufficient and decently constructed. It has actual legible comprehensible instructions, in a print font you can read. This proves the makers knew you’d be buying this to use it. Hilariously… it’s pretty simple and you could operate it without reading the instructions. Hold the time button 2 secs to enter time setting mode. Then use the hour and minute buttons each to set the hours and minutes. The only thing surprised me was that when I installed the batteries the display did not light up. The instructions say that the display does not work unless it’s plugged in but the batteries which you have to supply allow the clock to keep its memory. I like it and I’m going to get another. It even has silicone on the bottom so that when you set it down it stays. Playing with the RGB is fun.

Easy to see and read clock for the bedroom. Some of the choices for the alarm were strange to me, but there is something for everybody and I found two that would work well for me. I like the night light, but found I didn't need it as the numbers brightness I picked worked fine for this. I like the that you can adjust the color brightness and alarm volume .Since I just received it, I haven't used some of the features. It does appear to keep time, but I still need to use the alarm. The size is fine. Battery back up great and I liked that it used AAA batteries versus a button batteries. The not so good: It is difficult to see the buttons on the clock I picked out (black clock/blue numbers) and this made it difficult to set. and I wished I had gotten a clock with the automatic time adjustment for DST. This replaced at old Sony clock/radio, that was a wedding gift (over 45 years ago!)

Very pleased with this product. Big numbers that can be seen from across the room. It adjusts for color and brightness. It’s easy to set up and use. It offers numerous alarm sounds.

I needed a new clock for the living room, and this one is perfect. The clock body is made of good quality materials, and while not heavy, the weight of unit is substantial for the size. The large, bright numerals are easy to read from anywhere in the room, especially when the room is dark (except for the TV). Setting the time is simple, with easy to follow instructions included. The buttons are just the right size and conveniently located. While I doubt I will ever need to use the alarm feature, that, too, seems to be a simple process for setting. So far, the time accuracy seems very good. 5 STARS AND I DO RECOMMEND THIS ITEM I write honest reviews based on real life experience with each item to help others make informed purchases. I love this clock. I wear glasses so most of the time I can’t see what time it is without my glasses. The large numbers on this clock help me see it even from across the room. I am also the worst about hearing my alarm but this one is loud enough that it wakes me usually at the first sound. Another thing I like is that it doesn’t seem to speed up or slow down over time, it remains accurate. It is easy to use to set the time and the alarm and it has a snooze. The buttons work easily so it is definitely worth the price. I also like the color. So many things now are rose gold instead of pink, but this clock is the perfect shade of pink.

After getting this clock . . . we quickly ordered another one . . . they are totally functional and easy to set with the added feature of a light show. The ability to dim to desired brightness is perfect . . . they can either shout the time at you or gently announce it brightness wise, perfect for dark bedrooms.
