Tasty!
The bread is amazing — soft, tasty, and perfectly baked. I’ll definitely buy it again!

For those who like a firm, chewy bread.
I've been unwell for a couple of weeks, so not getting out much. I decided to order a few items from Amazon, including this San Francisco sourdough loaf. On the wrapper, the bread is described as having a "creamy flavour with a tang of sourdough". That's a fair description. It is a firm, chewy bread, and quite heavy, so you need to like you bread like that. It's going to be excellent toasted, (Haven't tried that yet.) So far I have been eating it with Yorkshire Smokehouse duck pate. (See my review.) My one misgiving is the price--more expensive than I'm used to paying, even for sourdough.

When you don't want to make sourdough yourself, this is great.
Tasty bought Sourdough loaf. If you and yours aren't going to eat it all at once, store the uneaten parts in a plastic bag or box! Like all sourdough loaves, this will become stale very fast. Stale sourdough bread still makes great toast, though!

Expensively stale
Arrived a little stale and not great overall considering how expensive it is. Better to get one from your local bakery.

Best sourdough. Thanks
This is one of the best sourdough bread in the market even though it's pricey. Even after the sale by date it was still delicious. Very few ingredients compared to other sourdough bread with long list of ingredients.

Very mild flavour; could be better
Decent product but flavour is unremarkable. Especially for the price. Texture is good, maybe a little dry. Sourdough breads can be so lovely in taste, whereas this one has almost none at all.

A very tasty bread.
The older I get, the less willing I am to compromise on many things, bread being one of them. Gone are the days where I would happily chew through a plastic, sliced white loaf. These days my bread must good have flavour and structure. I'm a big fan of sourdough. It's a chewy, open textured bread, that is perfect for all uses. This is a big, wonderful, tasty loaf. Soft and chewy inside, with a wonderfully crunchy crust. It is expensive, crazily so, and if you're a family that gets through a loaf a day, then it may not be an option. But for me, who gets through a loaf a week, this is a tasty treat. Which I try to convince myself, that I'm worth it. I hope you found this review helpful.
