My young son, '7', loves it! Just like a girls locking diary but for boys! He loves the lock for privacy & makes him feel good. Also came with stickers for him to use, if he chooses. Paper seems to be heavier weight & nice hard front/back covers.

Great for kids
I purchase this for my 6 year old who was struggling with expressing his emotions. He has found it so useful to write in every night and he can easily lock/unlock it himself which allows him to feel comfortable expressing himself. The cover glows in the dark after only a few minutes of “charging” under a light and it’s very bright which is a nice bonus.

Versatile styles for boys and girls
For my son's 8th birthday he said he wanted a locking notebook after he seen his little sister diary. All you can find in the stores in girl ones so I decided to check on here. He was super impressed and excited whenever he opened this up. It comes exactly as described/pictured. He enjoyed the stickers that came with it to.
