Q: can I use a 4tb or 6tb hd?

This was a bad investment. European plug that wasn't secure, primitive display and operation system, and you can't extract the video

Q: I bought this device on Amazon. I cannot access some function in the menu such as HDD format, time, restore default, channel scan and channel set.

I beleve that device design for Europe and some Asian country. And it does not work if you connect to CATV in US. I use that device for analog recording from CATV converter by my experience.
