First of all, this set is not with triply base though it is designed to look like triply. Sheet is thick, alright, 22G. The smallest of the lot, the 1 lit pot, just does not work on an induction heater and it is not because of the size. This has a 4.25 inch bottom and my heater works even with 3.5 inch bottom vessels. I use a 4 inch vessel regularly, everyday. Something is wrong with this, for sure. The whole set weighs 1.4 kg, without packing, and sells at 954/- which means 681/- per kg. Which steel costs that much? Most others sell at about 550-580/- per kg even on amazon. I would advise to stay away from this item and even from anything that Sumeet sells because the items are likely to be different from listed description as I found out in this case. Return and refund is no solution as you don't spend your time and energy only get the same money back after 20 days. PS: I have a suspicion that if the smallest,1L vessel/pot/tope/patila was designed without that narrow false bottom, PROBABLY it would have worked on an induction heater also. Thanks to Amazon for mitigating my problem.

Good quality steel!! Easy to clean as well..dishwasher safe..doesn’t discolor..tolerates heat well! Easy to store in the refrigerator as well.
