So far works as described. My dash cam turns on when truck starts. The cam turns off, when truck is off, after several minutes thus not draining my battery.

Great device
Works perfect!! 2024 Mazda Cx-30, on acc (ignition on mode or “0”) cam came on 5 seconds after starting car. And when car is off switched to full time power l”1”) and cam stayed on when ignition is off, great device!!

Nice Cable but switch doesn't work
Switch simply doesn't work correctly. No matter what, with dash cam it always defaults to 24 hour monitor mode. I've even tried a replacement and it did the same thing. I have a new model Red Tiger dash cam and there is no setting in it to prevent or alter the power signal from the cable.

So for me no need any extra configuration just plug and play. I’ll work 20 minutes after car shut off on the normal mode and the surveillance mode it stays on. Very long cable. So quality price is nice

Purchased 4 of these so far. The oldest is over 2 years old and still working like the day I purchased it. Simple design and works perfectly.

At first I didn't think this power supply would work and was going to return it until I figured out how it works. The OBD connection is always powered on which is not what I wanted but in the ACC mode on this device it senses system voltage and turns on when the car is started ( over 13 v ) and turns off in about 20 minutes after the car is turned off ( about 12.5 v). Perfect.

I have been using this for almost a year now, and there is no notable draining of the battery. The functionality to keep it running 24/7 or cutting the power after 30m is pretty solid. A great option for those who don’t have other better alternatives, especially newer cars without the cigarette lighter plug
