Hi, yes, I think they should be fine in the bath , they are just plastic. My little boy hasn't actually used then in the bath, though he has used them in a bowl of water, and they are fine. (Though I'm not sure on how submerged they have been!) Size wise they are pretty small - a couple of inches on average? (Some are marginally bigger than others). Hope this helps :-)
