Its crazy how much story Takehiko can tell through his art. Each character has a real personality you can like or dislike, no-one really feels generic or plain. This vizbig volume focuses heavily on Sasaki Kojiro, the destined final opponent of Mushashi. Here it carries on from when he is a child, around 9, all the way up to his teen years at 17. There is also a nice loop to the story near the end.

After a mishap I had with the quality of my last order falling apart I still chose to order another to which I am happy that it still arrived as early as when I did. Just as expected it's still a well done story with art as immaculate as Inoue Takehiko's and learning about Sasaki Kojiro's story through Vagabond after reading Musashi has been well worth it.
