1inch Low Rings + 42mm Diamondback + Savage w/Rail = Homerun!
Bought the 1 inch Low profile Rings to go with a 42mm objective lens Vortex Diamondback. This is sitting on a Savage bolt action rifle that has a picatinny/weaver rail on it. Perfect fit with a little room to spare!!! These rings are so nice and so thoughtfully built I want to replace most of my existing rings with these!!! The quality is fantastic! The screws are the same for the ring caps as they are for the base clamps so you don't need 2 different screw driver heads to fasten them, AND you get 2 extra screws in case you lose any! They also put the inch/bound markings for the screws so you know how much pressure to apply with the torque screw driver! The ring caps state 20 in/lbs but my scope instructions said to not exceed 18 so I went with the scope max vs the ring max so keep this in mind when putting your scope on. The index pins and the screw numbering for fastening was another nice touch with the labeling that make these a dream to easily secure in place without lopsided scope ring tops existing. Now on to the best info, per the title of this review. These are LOW rings for a 1inch scope tube sitting on a 20moa picatinny rail on my Savage bolt action rifle. In the picture there is roughly a 1/8th inch clearance between the end of the rail and the scope as the scope widens to the 42mm object lens size. I can't see how proper placement on the rail would ever have have the widest part of the 42mm scope lens positioned over the rail, but if it did I think there would still be a tiny bit of clearance available (1/8th inch or 3.175mm). If you have a 44-45mm objective lens scope, I think you would still clear the rail if placed about like my setup is but it would be a slim cap and it would depend on your eye relief affecting how far back you have to position your scope. I mean c'mon the whole point of having rails on these bolt actions is so you can adjust a scope forwards or backwards to get the perfect eye relief so you pick up the rifle and are right in the scope on target without having to move your head/eye backwards or forwards to get the sight picture right. As you can also see in the picture there is plenty of clearance before getting to the barrel. If you are savvy and capable of doing a some small time but accurate metal cutting, you can get away with cutting the last notch off the rail to buy some more space for a 45mm+ objective lens scope and using these low rings. I don't have any decent tooling to make such a cut look right and be square but if I absolutely had to I could but the rail with a hacksaw or a dremel and a metal cutting wheel and file the edges smooth. I prefer not to do such a thing though and have no need because I like to stay with 40-45mm objective lens scopes. I don't do any long range hunting beyond a 225-250yd shot so no need for those big 50mm+ objective lens scopes with more magnification than 16 power. More useful info. The bolt easily clears the scope with no issue. My bolt handle is oversized so if I need more room I can easily work it underhanded versus having to wrap my thumb and index finger around it to work it but a thumb and index finger grip should work as well for a Savage with a rail and these rings. I think some other reviews of another brand of rifle had issues clearing the rings, but I also don't think they put a rail on their bolt action rife, and the rail gives so much more room in general. To me all rifles need a rail to ensure you can place a scope on them to get the proper eye relief. Why spend all that money on a rifle and a scope to not be able to easily see through it. Especially if you are trying to put meat on the table and are wanting to do right by the animal. Getting a rail makes life easy whether you are big, small, young, or old. For context, I have and use some well known, great quality, rock solid, 1 piece mounts/rings like the Burris PEPR, Leupold, Lucid, and others. So I have a little experience with good quality rings/mounts. For individual rings I mostly go with the humble and adequate $20-$27 UTG/Leapers and they do fine, but these DISCOVERYOPT rings blow the UTG ones away! There is no contest and the price point is just right for the amazing quality and features of these DISCOVERYOPT rings. From now on when I upgrade scopes using individual rings, I am going to also upgrade to these rings unless for some good reason I need to move to a steel ring, but there are no >real< reasons I currently know of. I like to ensure my rifles are working with reliable entry level scopes before I upgrade the scope to a better scope. No matter if it's a lesser but humble upgrade to a Vortex Diamondback or an upgrade to a whopping Leupold Mark 5. I think these rings will become part of that upgrade as well. I hope this rambling bit of info helps someone out there.

Unbelievable fit, finish and quality for the price.
I hate to say it but these rings are incredibly high quality for the money. Normally I wouldn't buy off-brand rings but after watching a review from a top name Optics reviewer on YouTube I decided to give them a try. Comparing them side by side with top American made brands, the differences are minimum to non-existent. Very high quality components, fit and finish. Put these on a named-brand custom action with a Bushnell Match Pro ED and everything lined up perfectly. Have been using these for a few months across a couple of range trips and no issues, no POI shift, nothing.

Good rings, but need degreasing.
The scope rings are not too bad for the price. But the inner bore had a greasy type substance in there. 1st time ever I've encountered this with any other scope rings, so can't give 5 stars.

For general use, don't sleep on these.
"Good" scope rings can be expensive, but the truth is most people aren't going to get the benefit of a $200 pair of rings. These went on a small, for fun target rifle of mine and I couldn't be happier. Easy to setup, conveniently gives torque specs and bolt patters laser etched right there on the rings and they feel very solid. If you are looking for something that will work for 90% of use cases and won't cost a fortune, I'd happily recommend these.
