Nice little light, gets the job done better than I was expecting. My only concern is it does get a little too hot for my liking, but it's not on for excess time, so I feel it's ok.

I really like this lamp, it is easy to assemble and is the perfect height to go over my monitors. I did have an issue with the touch panel for the buttons coming off after the first 2 weeks of having it. But I contacted Amazon and they sent me a replacement 2 days later. The replacement seems to be holding up just fine and working like a charm. I like the RGB lights on the top, it looks really nice at night when I am working and gives enough light to illuminate the room. The main light is really bright and you can change the warmth of it, so that it doesn't hurt your eyes. I mainly use the main light to build models and it is exactly what I need.

This is a cool lamp. Easy to assemble and attach to table/deck. Lighting is ample with adjustment for intensity and color. I purchased this for a desk but it did not have the necessary overhang to attach the vise type clamp. So I repurposed it for my side table. It's a little odd for this application but works well as it does not take up any desk space and is high enough that it does not impede the use of the desk or get in the way. The two stars are due to the lighting controls pulling off the light bar. The controls are glued on and it appears there is an adhesive issue or the control strip is larger than the inlay for it and is pushing it out. I tried pressing it back to see if it would adhere and stay in place. Unfortunately, It pulled back away. I am in the process of returning this defective lamp and getting another. I will update once the replacement is recevied.

The Mostorlit LED Desk Lamp surprised me with its easy setup and brightness. It is the only light I have illuminating my desk. The RGB lighting on the top provides a subtle light for eye comfort.

Reasons not to buy:The RGB implementation is lackluster. In the static color mode, the LEDs are nice and bright, but you only get to toggle between Red, Green, and Blue. In the RGB wave mode, the LEDs don't actually wave but they just flutter/strobe super fast in random colors. They're also very dim in this mode, running at maybe 15% of max brightness. In color cycle/fade you get to see all the colors that the LED strip is capable of producing, including purple, which is what I was after, but you can't pause on any one of them. It's either ON or OFF, no pausing on the color you want, which is lame. Oh, and for some reason the RGB LED strip is not diffused unlike the bottom (white) one. It would have cost maybe an extra penny or two in manufacturing cost to make the top diffused too.The metal tube that mounts to the desk, and the gooseneck part, are held together by a soft plastic collar and 1 single screw which goes into said plastic. That's all that holds the two major components together. Be really careful assembling this lamp and especially careful when adjusting it as that middle section is a major structural weak point. The gooseneck to lamp section is held together by a single screw as well but at least that one goes into a metal thread. They should have designed these major components in such a way that they snap into each other like for example vacuum attachments do.Reasons to buy:If all you're looking for is a big, bright, and very affordable desk/monitor lamp, then this is the one to get. Get it especially if you have an ultrawide monitor, or dual monitor setup, and are on a budget because for the money this is as good as it gets. Just ignore the RGB aspect of it. I keep the RGB function permanently turned off on mine.It's got a lot of cool features. The touch controls are super cool and responsive. The lamp has its own power supply (doesn't run off of USB port like many others) so it gets really bright. The position of the light is infinitely adjustable. The bottom-pointing LEDs are diffused so you get a nice even light across your desk or work area. The clamp and the tube going from the clamp to the gooseneck section are both metal.And lastly, it's a stylish/modern looking lamp. It looks far more expensive than what it's currently selling for. Give this one a try before considering other options.
