Audiophile Sound, supreme comfort, sturdy design
I really love these headphones, they're exactly what I was looking for after trying many pairs and finding either the sound or the comfort being compromised in some way for gaming headsets. The sound signature is very similar to the award winning Sony MDR-1A, and the Sennheiser GSP500 can easily stand toe-to-toe with them. The Sennheisers deliver a nice balanced response across the entire frequency range, they are detailed, dynamic, and can engage you for sustained periods without ever inducing fatigue. That comfortable listening experience extends to the physicality of these large and quite heavy headphones sitting on your head. They never get hot or make you sweaty, with the cloth fabric on the top and ear pieces doing an excellent job of keeping you cool and composed, no matter how frenetic your gaming session may be. Reading reviews for these headphones and the 'expansive sound-stage' of open backed headphones kept being mentioned, what does this mean exactly? Well for me it was most noticeable during specifics scenes in films and games, for example, the Dolby Atmos trailer features a space ship flying overhead, and the sound-stage seems vast, as the immense noise from the thrusters is consumed by the vastness of space around them. Characters talking in stone-walled echo filled chambers are also particularly impressive, and really make you feel like you are there. It's all very natural and thoroughly enjoyable. There is a slight cost to the open backed designed; the bass doesn't provide quite as much punch as a closed back design. My wireless Plantronics Backbeats Pro headphones are the kings of bass for me, but they aren't as comfortable and can't be worn for hours on end like the Sennheisers can (and they have no mic). But if masses of bass is what you're after, perhaps consider the closed back GSP600s instead. The microphone seems excellent, I love that swinging the mic up mutes it, my gaming partner had to reduce my audio levels as it came through a lot louder and clearer than my last set. They come with two connectors; one for PC, one for Xbox/PS4, I'm switching between the two frequently and just hope the fitting in the headset holds up to repeatedly being used. It's worth noting that the sound quality is so good, there's a noticeable drop in quality when I'm using them connected directly to either the Xbox or PS4 controller, which is most likely due to a low quality DAC in the controllers not doing the headphones justice. In summary, if you're looking for a really top quality set of headphones, stop looking, you've found them!

GSP500 - Perfect Headset (Upgrade from Sen Game One)
In my opinion the sound from this headset is amazing, The openback design allows you to hear a more clearer sound when compared to the GSP600 closed back. The openback design helps prevents your ears from getting too hot By having an open back headset you can hear a much clearer and accurate sound space when compared to a closed headset. For games where you are running in the open or a huge open world you really get an immersive experience, but maybe slightly less bass. Although for me the bass on this headset is perfect. The Microphone is the best i've ever owned, i have friends who use steelseries Arctis 7, Arctis Pro Wireless Astro A50 and they agree the mich on this headset is the best they have heard. The clarity and Noise cancellation are second to none on the mich!! The headset is built very well, feels secure and i feel has a true value for money. I use the headset for my xbox and PC (Bought the adapter separately) The sound on the xbox again, is brilliant

Fantastic bass, faint treble
Note - I am writing this review on the day of arrival, coming straight from the old model 'equivalent', the PC 363D. I am not reviewing the surround sound as I don't own the hardware capable of it. The bass on these are incredible and easily is the most prominent part of the audio quality. It simulates a 3D environment using the open-back system, which can be a good thing. However, when compared to my previous pair, it sounds tinny and faint, having particular trouble on picking up on voices and medium-high notes which are relatively quiet even when at high volume. They are comfortable and have nice earpads, and the headband is not too restrictive though looks a bit silly on me. The noise cancellation is not very good and only seems to cancel your voice vibrations - but personally I don't mind that too much. If you're looking for very good noise cancellation I wouldn't go for this set. They look very fancy, as does the box and its inside presentation. Volume control can be found on the right side, but is initially stiff, perhaps intentionally. Be sure to plug in the 2.5m (or 1.5m for consoles) cable into your headset firmly, otherwise sound may only come through one side of the headphones. The microphone is not incredible and has a consistent (though faint) background noise. But it is sensitive as your voice comes through clearly and picks up on quiet sounds like whispering. Overall, I give it 4/5 stars. They are very good but I preferred my old set.

Excellent headset
This is my second pair of the same headset, previous set was bought in 2019 (5 yrs ago) and it still works but the detachable cable was twisted a bit causing a static noise, I could have just bought a new cable but decided to treat myself with buying another quality headset albeit the same brand and model, hopefully I'll get another 5 yrs out of this one, fits my head perfect even tho I wear glasses while gaming it is still very comfortable, mic ways ... no one has noticed I've a new headset so it still has a great mic, the sound is fantastic, it's a bit better from my previous set but that's probably because it's new, like the previous set this feels very sturdy and should easily last another 5 yrs or so, all in all I would highly recommend this headset.
