Very impressed by this reasonably priced tool. Looks to very well made and does a great job crimping, especially the larger 1/0 AWG terminal. Highly recommend!

Bought this after finding that a previously purchased inexpensive kit was not usable. Works very well, only caveat is that the punch for making the holes in the fabric for installation of the snaps doesn't cut very well, but overall it does function, one just has to poke out the material disk with a pointed implement after punching.

Great product took a little practice but figured it out. Very good product first used save me $15 in jacket button replacements.

I have not used this yet , but looks like it will be a nice piece of kit for adding a new snap or repairs. The instructions could be a bit better done , it is small and a bit rough to interpret. I have had a similar setup in the past so am familiar with the concept of operation. However. If you have never used anything like this before, look for a YouTube video and do a practice one before using on your project, it will save you possible aggravation, lol. Now I only gave it four stars to maybe grab some attention of the manufacturer, the whole kit is nice , rugged tool, nicely organized plastic box of snaps, etc. but it comes in a cardboard box that isn’t all that rugged. I’d like to see the whole kit in a clear ,plastic box that I can keep all the parts in permanently. Lots of similar items are coming that way now, and it would be a nice addition to the package.I forgot one thing, and this is directed toward supplier mostly. This kit comes with a set of "knit" gloves. I've gotten these with other kits as well and though basic, and not really needed for the work at hand, I love these things ! To the buyer, try these under your winter gloves, you'll be amazed how these "cheap" little gloves will make your hands twice as warm. I wear a similar type under simple leather drivers most of the winter. To the manufacturer , make these a whisker larger, or offer sizes, coat the palm and fingers with the non shiny type nitrile (think Grease Monkey) and sell them. Its the short , non-existent cuff that to me is the gold. All the other knit coated gloves on the market have an unnecessary (for what they are mostly used for) 3" long cuff that is just annoying ! That cuff , most of the time just gets rolled up anyway. Think of the material savings. I you run with this idea, I want lifetime supply !

The snap pieces were cheaply made but the pliers worked fine.

I used this to fix my boat cover. I worked awesome. It saved me $1000. I bought a second one because when you’re making a lot of buttons it’s a pain to keep switching the die out from punch to anvil. Other thank that it’s awesome.
