Remove the screen protector .
Happy with the meter once I removed the scratched screen protector (looked as though the item was damaged. I found the silvery contacts which are actually clips to insert into were very tight which is not in its self is no bad thing apart form the central contact for checking transistors etc is so flimsy it folded itself back down inside the housing. Nothing to do with the seller though just a small design flaw. Otherwise very happy.
