Straightening Hair Treatment for 90 Days of Straight

I have used Envie Hair Straightening in the past and I have found this Product surpasses what you get for an in-home Straightener. I did it myself and was really impressed with the final results. The product was simple enough as an in-home Straightener. For extra long hair, I would suggest you get 2 sets. I see it is on sale today so I took advantage to get a second kit. It has a beautiful smell does not burn the scalp and you do not have to rush as with other hair straighteners. I sent my sister Melanie a picture of my hair and she loved it. She said I looked like a Japanese Princess. You will be impressed with this product.

I have wavy to mildly curly hair, maybe 50% gray. This product did not product the results I had anticipated, not even close.First, the instructions require you to have a hair coloring brush, which means an additional purchase just to use this product or using something else. I used a silicon turkey basting brush (haha!), which actually worked just fine.Second, part of the process is to use a hair straightening iron not only during the process, with the straightening solution in the hair, but also after the process was completed and hair is blown dry. So, in my opinion, the only way to get straight(er) hair by using this product is to not use it and just iron your hair anyway.Now I understand why almost one third of the review gave this product only one star.I have had better luck using a home perm solution and combing it through my hair while in the shower.

I love this product. I use it two to three times a year to relax the kink in my hair. Makes drying & flat ironing so simple. It used to take me a good hour to straighten my hair only for the humidity to undo all my hard work! Now it takes half the time & the weather has little effect on my hairstyle.

So, when following the instructions, this product does work. I'm assuming if other reviewers had a bad result, it's MOST likely because the steps were either not followed properly or they used a shampoo with sulfates afterwards, which will strip the product out of the hair and returning the hair to its original form.Only 3 stars because the smell is so unbelievably horrible. I cannot explain the smell, other than it is worse than almost anything i can think of. Similar to the smell of death. No joke! It's nauseating. AND the smell hasn't gone away. Ive washed my hair 10+ times since the treatment and it is still there (even after using ALOT of dry shampoo and super perfumy conditioners. Quite frustrating.It took over 2 hours for the entire process, but that was expected. I've had numerous brazilian blowouts, and that's just how long the process takes. The time consuming process has nothing to do with the product itself.Overal, the product works well, butI would not buy again, The smell is waaaay too gut wrenching.

It’s took me about 3 hours to complete the process. The product does not burn and smells good. It straightened my hair as promised. I usually go to a salon to get keratin treatment which contains formaldehyde. My last keratin treatment was almost 6 months ago. Very impressed with the product I will buy 2 kits next time however 1 was sufficient for my hair. I will repeat in 3-4 months. My hair type is 4b. So happy didn’t have to spend $300 on salon keratin treatment.

Product is not worth not the money due to the HORRIBLE smell!! Easy to use and was happy with the results overall but then I washed my hair. The smell makes me sick to my stomach after washing my hair I have to put so much product in it to cover up the toxic smell!! It’s almost been a month and I can’t stand the thought of getting my hair wet. I was outside in the rain and my husband noticed it!! Don’t buy!!
