Super easy install. We had old MR16 basement lights. The old home owner installed them incorrectly (too big of a hole cut out), looked terrible, wired dangerously, etc etc. I didn't think I was capable of this project. However, I gave it a shot. Ripped out the old lights and housing and upgraded/downsized to these. Originally, we were quoted $1500 to redo the lights in our basement. After we got used to it, it took us at most 2 hours to replace 9 MR16 lights with the new LED fixtures. The plastic snap in wire connectors are *chef kiss*, making it super easy to connect wires...I didn't even know these existed. A week after install, the remote stopped working so I reached out to the manufacturer - they were quick to send steps on how to remedy the situation, which didn't work. They sent a new remote. No luck. Turns out both remotes needed new batteries so just keep that in mind. I just connected the smart hub to Tuya and it's working well too. Note: CR2025 batteries are what the remotes take but they are interchangeable with CR2032

The product is a great product! It works great! I had an issue with the 1st gen of these lights. I didn’t see the issue until after the 30 days for my return policy because I wasn’t at that phase in my house yet to install. Their newest gen lights had a fix for the problem. I had already bought 100 lights and it was past my 30 days and Amazon could not help me. I bought 100 more of the newer gen lights that fixed the issue because I thought I had no choice. I reached out to the manufacture about my old order and they reimbursed me for the whole old order (they did not have to do this because I was past the 30 days) they were very helpful and wanted to make sure I had a good solution. They have been very helpful in the whole process. I have my whole house totally installed with these lights and I’m about turn off and on and change each light individually with Alexa! Great Customer Service can always make a Great Customer Experience!!

Lights work great, are easy to install, have intense color, and add great ambiance. The newer versions (the only thing you can buy now) come with a mesh controller and remote, which is pretty handy for quick access instead of needing to unlock your phone, fire up the app, etc. That said, the remote/mesh system does not work as well as the phone app - some lights may not get the signal from the remote, and you don't have the level of precision (ex: individual light control) that you do with the app. You can't use a dimmer switch with them, so dimming the lights requires either the remote or the app. What I did in my house was put these RGB lights around the edges of the room, and 5CCT white lights everywhere else. That means I have two switches for rooms like this, but I put the lights closer together than the recommended 6-7 feet, so you can easily get away with just using one set or the other. Connecting them to the app can sometimes be a bit of a pain, but you only have to do this once (unless someone puts them into pairing mode by turning the switch on and off rapidly). I recommend these lights, they are pretty cool.

If I could give these a zero, I would. THESE LIGHTS HAVE TO BE RESET/RE-ADDED EVERY TIME YOU USE THEM. I install smart devices professionally and spent 3 days working on this using every network config possible. DO NOT BUY THESE!! --_-----_-------- Okay so apparently the newer boxes come with a hub/gateway which seems to have fixed the connectivity issues. So here is my two month review: The good: 1. The lights can be VERY bright and the colors are quite good. 2. Like other brands, they are easy to install. 3. The remote control is nice. The bad:; 1. The app interface is terrible. It's missing a lot of important functionality, not user friendly and there are zero instructions. 2. You cannot change colors or turn these lights on or off with third party apps like Alexa or Home Assistant. There is no way to access 90% of the features with these home hub apps, including on/off. 3. The user interface is horrible and not intuitive in any way. There are no instructions on how to programmatically change to specific colors using scenes or automation. At least they are not losing connectivity anymore... but due to the significant app control issues I still cannot recommend these lights.

Had to replace a few ceiling lights at my home to sell and these worked well. The lights we bought in the past were similar but not available anymore and these fit and looked very similar. They were easy to install and worked well. The temperatures where very close and most noticeable difference was at 2700k but it is very hard to tell. I love that these had adjustable temperature control on the unit.
