I install security cameras around the outside of my home. Most of them work well, but one of them frequently lost signal. The Wi-Fi signal was just too weak at that end of my home. I installed this Wi-Fi Repeater near the camera that gave me problems. Just plug it in and connect to existing Wi-Fi. The signal is much stronger now. This solved the problem, the camera now works great.

Does NOT work. Plugs in, was hard-wired to Main Internet Router . . and it does NOTHING to improve signal reach where needed, will not show any improvement from any devise through reliable internet web browse signal test. ZERO Improvement. RETURNED IT.

Slightly difficult to initially set up ( depicted on a phone in instructions) but did get it working to connect older PC to new fiber internet via ethernet. Connected right away to computer and so far works like a charm as expected. Not sure why or what issues previous reviews referred to, as I would offer assistance but... works for me, bottom line.

It took me a hour to figure out "setup". Here's My Setup: -plug in repeater -select "wifi_####" network on phone -"english" ✓ -"... repeater" ✓ - enter my router network "NETGEAR82" -enter my router P/W "********". Now I connected my tablet to the (repeater) wifi network named "NETGEAR82-ext". BTW the LED's are not working BUT the repeater function is (NETGEAR82-ext). I'm going return this repeater and try for one with the LED's are working.

I’ve only had this set up 24 hrs. So far so good. Our tv upstairs has been having issues and disconnecting from the WiFi connection all of a sudden. So I bought this plugged it in, found it on my phone set it up. Easy set up in 5 min. The lights on it are hard to see, very faint green.

Yes i would have given it 5stars but it doesn’t reach a certain level of distinct but it’s cool i would definitely recommend, for the price 👍

As usual with Asian made equipment, the documentation is worthless. It says to scan a QR code for a setup instructional video, however all it does is advertising crap. Not a thing about the device. This us the second AP/Repeater I have purchased from Amazon and neither of them have usable documentation. Therfore the device is useless. I don't understand why Amazon does not check products fir quality documentation in the box. There was supposed to be a cat 5/6 eathernet cable in. The box, not there. Most AP/Repeters have a ethernet cross over cable in the carton so you can connect a laptop or tablet to set yh e IP setting to your network Not this junk. Yes I said JUNK! Because that's what these are without being able to use them as advertised. I am a retired IT TECNICIAN OF OVER 30 YEARS. So I'm not just some air head that doesn't know what I'm doing. I have a few more undocumented tech tricks to try before I bix this junk up and get my money back.

Works great till you nieces and nephew bumps into it and break it and they're three and five
