Been great so far. It's easy to setup and get going on the Govee app. My favorite feature has been asking Alexa what's the temp of my pool. I have a secondary thermometer and it seems to be accurate. It's definitely waterproof, it's been floating around my pool for a few days now. Just make sure that the lid is closed tight after installing the batteries. It functions good, you can track all the temps and see how it fluctuations during the day. Being a Govee product I think it's worth the money.

Excellent wireless pool or spa thermometer. I'm using it in an inflatable hot tub though it could be used in a pool or even a pond. It seems accurate out of the box but there is also an option to calibrate it in the app. Connecting the gateway to my network and the sensor to the gateway was super easy and intuitive. I've never used a govee product before and didn't even need the manual to connect it. It works well and the range is great too. I'm a little disappointed by the screen on the thermometer though. After a few days in the hot tub it almost looks like the screen is beginning to show signs of etching. It's still easy to read but has a hazy whitish streaks over it. I thought I'd try to clean it later but I don't think that's going to make a difference. It's smaller than expected which is great and it floats well. Oh it eve came with the 2 necessary triple A batteries. I was impressed by that. Overall I'd definitely recommend it and may buy another one for the pond we have.

Worked great for a year. Literally the batteries that it came with lasted that year. No issues at all. Batteries went dead so I replaced them...3 times with new batteries. Nothing. The unit was dead. Absolutely nothing. Contacted Govee for a replacement or at least some insight. Radio silence. Yea... that'll be the last Govee item. ****UPDATE...After writing the review above it just sat where I left it. Before throwing it out I had to try one more time and put new batteries in it again. To my surprise it came on and connected like nothing ever happened, no thanks to Govee's input. Can't explain it, but it's still working now. If it stops working I'll update this review again. Changing to 4 stars for now. Hopefully it'll work for a long time to come.

Been using one of the sensors in my hot tub for about a month now and seems to be working as expected. I like to be able to check the temp especially when it is -30C outside.
