This replacement part for my kitchen stand mixer is the best purchase I have ever made. I have owned my mixer for about 10 years, and I had to repair it several times because the original plastic part kept failing. Finding this high-quality replacement part finally solved the issue. Better than the plastic ones.

This gear assembly worked perfectly for my KitchenAid mixer. The quality feels solid and much better than the original part. Installation was simple, and my mixer runs smoothly again. Great value for the price—highly recommend this replacement!

When I got it I noticed that the upper shaft sleeve bearing was not a proper fit as the shaft could move back and forth a little bit. I went ahead and installed it, greased it up and it seemed like everything was fine until i started mixing some dough when it tore the gear up. I'm assuming because it wasn't fitting tight with the worm gear due to the slack in the bearing sleeve. I ordered another from a different company, so I'll wait and see how that goes.

Have repaired 2 Kitchenaid tilt mixers with these parts. These gears fit fine, work fine, and do not break the first time you use them. There is no noticable gear noise either. You do have to clean all the old grease out before installing these, and cover them heavily in fresh, food grade grease before sealing the mixer up. But so far so good.

Seems to be working so far, a little noisy though. Sounds rough. warm to to the touch. But it's working! and was easy to install.

Great replacement for original plastic gear

So far so good. The original one that came in my kitchen aid melted while we were grinding meat. Replacing this was much cheaper than buying a new one.

Im Original ist dieses Schneckenrad eine Sollbruchstelle (nicht ohne Grund) und dadurch auch die größte Schwachstelle und das Verschleißteil Nummer 1. Aus diesem Grund haben wir in unserer Maschine, einen angepassten Motorschutzschalter montiert. Leider sind die Zahnflanken des Ersatzproduktes sichtbar nicht evolvent >gegossen<. Resultierend daraus funktioniert der Umbau mit dem alternativen Überlastschutz zwar, die Geräuschkulisse ist jedoch mit einem drehehnden Eimer Schrauben vergleichbar… Würde es dieses Produkt aus normgerechter passgenauer spanender Produktion (z.B. aus Messing) geben, hätte es viele Fans!
