I have acne marks and acne prone skin so I use tretinoin and azelaic acid regularly at night. I was always on the lookout for a good day time moisturiser which doesn’t stick to my dry patches and moisturises my skin well the next morning. I tried formula rx moisturiser, it worked alright for me but didn’t battle the dryness well. Klairs midnight calming cream worked well however, the price point is a little high. So I tried this one, I had high hopes and didn’t disappoint me! At night i use klairs midnight calming cream sparingly and layer cerave on top and morning this one moisturiser is sufficient. It layers well on top of any serum and doesn’t pill and absorbs well in the skin keeps my skin moisturised even after setting my makeup with loose white powder there isn’t any dryness or peeling of skin observed. It takes a minute to fully absorb in the skin and it has no scent which is again a plus. The only small issue I have is my skin gets little oily but as long as my skin doesn’t visibly peel or feel dry I am satisfied. This moisturizer does more than enough for it's price, hence amazing. since I use lot of actives in a day, I'm using other moisturizers with barrier soothing properties.

It is a good moisturizer for normal/dry/combination skin types. The moisturizer doesn't feel heavy and has a very smooth gel like texture, though it's slightly heavy when used alongwith a sunscreen in summers but overall I really appreciate its healing properties owing to its 2% Niacinamide, Squalane, Hyaluronic Acid, 1% Vitamin C and Ceramides and 0.5% Peptides. However, it's not that great as a standalone product, I use it over my certain face serums and only the moisturizer in the afternoon when I am indoors.

It's too good...I am going to purchase 3rd bottle.. I have oily skin..in winter it's perfect but little bit oily in summer...but over all it is good moisturizer for barrier repair...

The moisturiser is great and is perfect for hot and humid summers. I have been using Dr V products (including her own UK based skincare line) for around 2-3 years now. My only issue with this moisturiser is the packaging. It's packaged in an airless pump bottle which is great but since my past 2 purchases, i have received bottles that don't pump up and dispense the moisture. As a result, I've had to open the bottle to use it, completely defeating the purpose of an airless pump. Also, it's just very inconvenient.
