Sharp, Smooth, and Long-Lasting Blades
These Parker double-edge safety razor blades are some of the sharpest and most reliable I’ve used. Right from the first shave, they cut cleanly and smoothly without tugging or irritation. The platinum-tungsten-chromium coating really does make a difference—the blades glide effortlessly across the skin and leave behind a close, comfortable shave. I also appreciate their durability. Each blade gives me several quality shaves before it needs to be replaced, which makes this 100-count pack an excellent long-term value. The stainless steel construction feels sturdy, and they fit perfectly into my safety razor without any issues. For anyone who wants a professional-quality shave at home, these are a fantastic choice. They’re sharp enough for thick or coarse hair, yet smooth enough for sensitive skin. Highly recommended if you’re looking for dependable blades that balance sharpness with comfort.

Excellent blades
These are the best DE blades I've found. Smooth, sharp and hold their edges through 4+ shaves. Will definitely buy again.

Great Buy!
Great Buy! The razor blades are of very good quality. They have a VERY sharp razor edge for a great close shave. It's a great deal for these high quality blades. Of course you need to have already or purchase a razor to use them, but it basically pays for itself because of the deal you get on these blades. I'm very happy with this purchase, I will definitely buy them again.

Average stubble & non adjustable DE Razor, give it a try...
First pack of razors I purchased as I entered the world of DE shaving. I don’t find any fault in the razors as they are sharp enough to get the job done and I believe would be regarded as a mild blade. I have 5 varying razors I have tried these blades and Feathers in for comparison. My experience with the Parker blades has been best when using with fixed razors, resulting in BBS 3pass shaves with little to no irritation. As for using the Parker blades in a Gillette slim adjustable and my Merkur progress, I find the mild to mid level settings are quite uncomfortable and I get a tugging feeling. I have used the feather blades in the full range of settings in the adjustable razors and did not experience this discomfort, but obviously noted the more aggressive feel of the feather blade with the mid to aggressive settings. As for the parkers, they share space on my shelf with the feathers, and they will both get plenty of use. Thus far my preference is my game changer stainless razor, and the efficiency of the Parker is just as good as the feather blade in this razor and is much more comfortable if I shave in a hurry or apply poor technique. In my experience with the Parker blades, I have been able to get 4 shaves pretty consistently without noticing the blade getting dull, so I usually replace after the 4th shave. In comparison, the feather blades are twice the price and I have found I can get up to 6 maybe even 7 shaves before I find the need to retire the blade. When the Parker lost its edge, it was more subtle, whereas the feathers have been much more apparent once the edge has deteriorated. I have fairly average facial hair as far as coarseness, but not heavy and thick, leaving me to assume I might see a little more life out of a blades edge than someone with a fast growing beard and or thick/coarse stubble.

Favorite blades so far. Similar to Wilkinson sword
Some of the smoothest blades I've used. Not as sharp or aggressive as Astra or feather which is what I need. I primarily use this to shave my head so blind shaving and by feel makes it important to have a smooth blade that glides while not being hyper aggressive. Absolutely perfect no issues for face shaving. Great blades and one of the best values I've found. Definitely my favorite so far. These cut great and glide. Just make sure to moisturize a bit first to cut down on incidental nicks. It seems a bit overkill that they're in a cart of 20x5 that are in plastic cases and individually wrapped sets of 5 in plastic but I'd wager its done for manufacturing so they can be broken up and sold outside of these big packs so it's whatever just feels a bit overkill.

Parker is rated one of the best razor blades.
So I bought 100 of them and that's a lifetime supply, because the blades rarely wear out! They stay sharp even shaving a long, very tough beard, week after week, and so far I haven't worn one blade out yet. The blades have several coatings to protect their sharpness and it seems to work very well. I just blow dry the blade after shaving. If you get gunk stuck in your razor holder, just use a water pik to blow it out, then blow it dry with air.

Blades are fine, packaging is not
I decided to try the Parker blades after using Feather blades for several years. The Parker blades themselves are fine. Accessing them is a hassle. The plastic wrapping around each package of 5 blades has no tab to tare it open so a scissor or knife is needed to cut this wrapper. The paper covering each blade does not allow the blades -- after the first one -- to slide out of the plastic case. I end up breaking off the end so I can remove a new blade. I'm surprised the company makes it so difficult to access the blades in each 5-pack.

Close shaves, good deal
I was new to safety razors and was simply amazed that I could get 100 blades for about 11 bucks. There were others at the same price point, but I did a lot of reading and was convinced to give Parker a try because of the positive comments. Since I'm new to this, It took me awhile to get the angle right and get to know my face. After a week of a couple nicks, I'm now getting super close shaves without nicks. After a shave, I'll can rub my face and not feel any whiskers at all! If you're new to safety razors, I advise you to watch a couple videos on the subject. If you nick yourself at first, don't give up. Try different shaving creams, different angles, shorter strokes, watch some vids on how to do it You will like the close shaves you get. I'm using them with the viking Chieftain razor and hard milled shaving soap bar and shaving brush. I'm getting about 5 shaves per blade with these blades Comes in a 5 blade dispensers. The dispersers have a slot in the back for blade disposal. I will buy them again; In about 1/2 year! for only 11 bucks.

Exceptional Quality and Performance I recently purchased the Parker Platinum Double Edge (DE) Razor Blades, and I must say, they have exceeded my expectations in many ways. As an avid wet shaver with a few years of experience under my belt, I've tried blades from various brands, but Parker has truly stood out for its price to performance ratio. Sharpness and Smoothness One of the most critical aspects of a razor blade is its sharpness, and the Parker Platinum blades do not disappoint. To me, they feel as sharp as a Gillette 7 O'Clock, but definitely less sharp than a Feather. From the very first shave, I noticed how effortlessly the blade glided across my skin, cutting through stubble with minimal resistance. The sharpness of these blades ensures a close shave, reducing the need for multiple passes and thereby minimizing skin irritation. Usually, they are smooth from the first use itself. However, my best shaves with them are usually the 2nd and 3rd. I have sensitive skin and am prone to razor burn and nicks, but with these blades, I've experienced significantly less irritation. The platinum coating seems to play a crucial role in delivering a smooth and comfortable shave. The blades feel thinner than other sharp blades and a little flimsy during handling. However, once clamped properly in a quality metal razor, they don't have any chatter. Durability I find they perform perfectly for about 4 shaves (3 pass shaves). After that, I notice a drop in sharpness. Packaging and Value The blades come in a plastic case, which makes it easy to dispose of used blades behind the tuck. However, I would rather Parker used cardboard tucks, as one of the reasons I wet shave is to reduce my plastic footprint. Each blade is individually wrapped, which is excellent for maintaining hygiene and ensuring the blades do not get damaged. Considering the quality and performance of these blades, they offer exceptional value for money. They are competitively priced and available in bulk packs, which is great for regular shavers. #### Final Thoughts ##### Overall, the Parker Platinum DE Razor Blades are a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a reliable, sharp, and smooth shaving experience. They cater to both beginners and experienced wet shavers, providing a balance of sharpness and comfort that is hard to beat at this price. I highly recommend giving these blades a try if you’re looking to elevate your shaving routine. --- Note: I have been using these blades for several weeks, and my review is based on consistent performance over this period. Individual experiences may vary based on shaving technique, skin type, and razor used.
