Fast Boil, Travel Friendly, and Works Exactly as Advertised
I have already used this water heater several times and I am really impressed with how fast it works. It brings water to a full boil at 212°F in about five minutes, which is perfect for making instant ramen or quick meals. I even checked the temperature with a kitchen meat thermometer just to be sure, and it was spot on. I have not tried the other heat settings yet, but the touch button controls are very easy to use and feel intuitive. Everything about the unit feels well designed and convenient for travel. The carrying case could be slightly larger to fit the cord more easily. If you take some time, you can make the cord, heater, instructions, and cleaning packets all fit inside, but it is a bit of a squeeze. To avoid dealing with that every time, I just put the cord and accessories into a sandwich size ziplock bag, place that inside the heater, and then slide the heater into the carrying case, which works great. Overall, this is an excellent product and I am very happy with it. One thing to note is that the outside of the heater and the lid do get pretty warm during use, so be careful when handling it after heating. Other than that, I would definitely recommend it.

Great little travel kettle
Absolutely great. I've been doing a lot of travel as of late, and I'm a big tea drinker. Which is a real problem when you live and mostly travel in the US, because the vast majority of the tea you get in hotels is crap, and they almost never have a decent way of just getting the hot water you need. I bought this thing as an experiment, and I'm glad I did. It works flawlessly. Does about a cup and a bit, which makes it perfect for either your own mugs or hotel sized insulated disposable cups. It's nice and quick, and it's astonishingly quiet. When I used it the first time I wasn't entirely sure I had it turned on, because it didn't make any noise at all till almost the moment it finished. A single loud beep is your indication the water's done boiling, at which point you can just unscrew the lid and pour. I do wish it had some kind of spout, but that's a minor gripe at most. Once dried out, you can store the plug inside it and stick it in your suitcase, ready for the next trip. I'll be using this thing for a good long time to come.

Durable!!
I recently bought the Travel Electric Kettle and it’s been a total game-changer for my traveling mornings! This compact, mini kettle heats up quickly and is super easy to use. The 4 temperature control settings are awesome, allowing me to brew everything from tea to coffee to oatmeal without worrying about the water being too hot or cold. The 304 stainless steel body feels durable and looks sleek in white, plus it’s BPA-free, which is a nice bonus. The auto shut-off and boil dry protection features give me peace of mind, especially when I’m in a rush. It’s small enough to pack in my bag, making it perfect for travel. Whether I’m at a hotel or on the go, I can always have hot water in minutes. Definitely recommend it for anyone who needs a reliable and portable kettle!

Great travel kettle - would make a nice gift!
This portable water kettle was fantastic for our 23-day road trip! I loved that I could plug it into our truck and heat water as we drove. It works consistently and quickly. I also used it in several hotels, enabling me to heat water for evening tea. My only complaint about the kettle is that it's tricky to wash the inside bottom, which isn't an issue if you only use it to boil water. For me I also heated milk in the boiler, and just needed to remember to wipe it out immediately after heating. I love that you can keep the cord inside the tumbler and the carrying case they provide is wonderful too. All in all a really great travel item! Would make a nice gift.

Compact for traveling, slow for boiling water.
This is very compact and easy to use. It took 9 minutes to reach 209 degrees but did not reach 212 degrees boiling point. The top is very hot when the high temperature of water is reached. Be careful unscrewing the top to pour out hot water. Recommend to wear mitts or wrap a hand towel around top to remove the top. I bought this to heat water for hot chocolate and it works but is slow because it only uses 300 watts. In comparison, my Sunbeam Hotshot which is not available anymore uses 1450 watts and can boil only 10 ounces of water in just over 1 minute. This is compact and more usable for travel use. It also came with a travel pouch which was not mentioned. A well made product that works as advertised and takes up little space. The removable power cord fits inside for travel and storage when not being used.

Perfect size. Delightfully convenient!
This is exactly what I wanted for work. It is the perfect size and is super portable. It does take a little bit to get to the 212° heat up, but it has been just what I needed!

Careful when handling it. It might be slippery.
In general, not bad at all. The water gets very hot. The only downside is the outside. When I lift it I need to make sure I have a good grip on it, otherwise it feels like it can slip any moment. Almost did when fist started using it. And when you are holding a scalding water, that is not safe. But in general it functions well.
