Neat Little FM Receiver - Works Fine WIth Included Antenna
I needed an inexpensive FM receiver, with external antenna, to pair with my JBL Boombox 2 for the drive in theater, and this checked the box. Controls are easy enough to figure out without the "instructions" sent. Under $40 USD, includes antenna, 33' of antenna cable, mount, and all the wires needed to work. I power it off of either the JBL Boombox USB charger port, or off of a 12,000 mAH battery pack I got w/ a fan, low power consumption means it runs for a good long while. It's small, fits right in the bag w/ the speaker, and when connected up to the speaker, and antenna properly placed, stations come in clear and sound is good for what I need it to be. All in all, happy w/ the pricing and functionality of this device. Do yourself a favor, run a full scan on initial power up (w/ antenna connected, properly placed, and receiver in desired location), and then if you move the antenna, do another scan in order for best results. Long press on top dial gives you "finer" search control, but one click doesn't necessarily equal 1kHz change/step, takes some getting used to.

FM tuner for home audio
it does exactly what it's supposed to do fantastic tuner locks in all sorts of channels versus my car radio I mean what are you getting nowadays for 20 or 30 bucks two Happy meals and a soda hahaha go ahead and buy it without even thinking about it one of the best investments I ever made for a couple dollars usually that kind of stuff ends up in the junk drawer by the end of the week but this product proves itself all the way excellent quality so sorry to earn this place and will not end up in the junk drawer if it keeps up working the way it has been

Compact, good value line-out radio, with mediocre tuner
Why did you pick this product vs others?: This compact line-out radio works well, at its price point; but in comparison to various (Sangean) radios I have connected to the same whole house antenna, the number of clear stations tuned is "mediocre" by comparison. But the two most important stations come through clear and strong, and that is good enough for ~99% of use. As I am not using the supplied antenna, had to do research to find the external antenna adapter that works with American systems. Just fyi, that adapter is "PAL male to F female" -- allows the attachment of a standard American RF/VHF ("F type") video cable to the antenna port on the back of the unit. And that adapter adds $6-10 to the price. As to the single, multi-purpose knob on top, it is easy to operate once you get used to it. Would recommend auto-tuning first (long press on the left button on front of unit). Then, after auto-tune has completed (a few seconds later), you just turn the knob to go from station to station. If you need to fine-tune, hold down the button while turning the knob (which doesn't work great). To adjust volume, just do a short press on the button; then you can adjust upwards or downwards (right or left), and the chosen volume will remain in memory, while a corresponding numerical read-out on the LCD panel displays volume amount. Simple. Remote control? Nah, would add unnecessary complexity and cost, especially if you plan to leave on a single station for awhile. Might be nice to have a remote, though, if you have the need. You of course have to run the line out signal through an additional amplifier (or to headphones), from the 3.5mm audio output on back. Works perfectly for me, right next to a soundbar under a TV. Actually, I would like to give this item 5 stars because I admire its conception and small footprint. But alas, the tuner itself is so-so... so 4 stars it is. And then there's the PAL female antenna input on back, which most Americans won't know what to do with, if they don't use the included antenna. But the antenna probably works fine for most, so few will notice. Summary: recommended radio tuner, for fairly specific types of use. Great little gadget. Size: Small footprint. Works well: Tunes needed channels, easy to use. Value for money: Not much competition, here! Ease of setup: Just learn a few simple steps, which the manual may not reveal.

Works great could use a stronger magnet.
Works well with my christmas light project, plenty enough wire for the antenna. Magnet on antenna could be stronger though

Disappointing is an Understatement
Very disappointing (and understatement). Not only was the reception (even with the large antenna moved to many different places, no better than a transistor or portable radio, but also it defaulted to lower FM frequencies every time you turned it on. If you want above 90.0 you have to manually press a button before it tunes to any station. Once you shut it off, have to do it all over again. I return fewer than 1/2 of a percent of things I get on Amazon. Can't recommend this product.

Good quality and worked for my purpose
I needed units to connect to speakers to receive a signal from a small FM transmitter. They did very well once the antennas were anchored/magnetically attached to a metal base for help with receiving the signal. I wish the controls/buttons were a little friendlier to use. The big dial on the top sometimes doesn’t register a tick/turn on both of the unit I purchased. The cable attached to the antenna is a nice length and after reviewing the directions I got the hang of how they needed to be controlled.

As advertised
Simple, FM tuner you can hookup to an old receiver or radio with a broken tuner or antenna. The magnetic antenna post extends nearly 3 feet; reception is outstanding. FYI: the last review for anything that I’ve written was more than a year ago. Quite happy with this purchase. Operational tip: you need to allow the digital tuner to run a full auto scan of your FM dial before proper use.

Works Great!
I’ve had it for about 3 months now and had no issues with it, picks up all kinds of stations and the sound quality is great too. Don’t listen to the negative reviews about the tune-ability, if you can read and comprehend instructions then you’ll have no issues. It’s small so it works off of 3 buttons, the top one being the main control and the two bottom ones being for switching between favorites. No complaints so far, love the extended reach antenna too!
