I would like to begin by saying that I am a first-time gardener. So I am learning as I go to some extent. The sweet potato slips arrived with directions which really helped. My slips did arrive with about 2 leaves but in the end they had to be removed because they didn't survive the transport very well. However, the directions did warn that could possibly happen. So in the very beginning my slips just looked like little sticks. I was admittedly worried that they wouldn't produce anything. But they did come with some roots so I had faith in the process. I follow the directions of the seller and change their water daily. I also add a tiny bit of Miracle-Gro water soluble vegetable food to the slips water everyday when I change it. I put the slips under UV light and within about 6 days I started to see results! There are still some slips that just look like sticks. But there are other slips that are blooming very lush leaves. So overall I'm very happy with this purchase.

We’ll see what happens. It took a long time for them to root, so I just planted yesterday. They didn’t have many roots when I got them, but I’m hopeful. I’ve still got July August September and harvest the end of October which should be fine provided this year has a warm fall. Probably my fault cause I didn’t get good sprouts of my own to start earlier.

No real roots. Followed instructions. They just rotted in water. Customer service was great and returned my money. Maybe I will have better luck next time.
