KNOW Foods Chickpea Rice, Gluten Free, Grain Free, Vegan, 1 lb Bag

This is shockingly very good! Easy to cook and tastes great. It isn’t chalky or grainy textured. It is very similar to pasta. My son absolutely loves it. He has a grain allergy (FPIES) And he goes crazy for these!!! I haven’t had anything from “KNOW” that I haven’t loved. All of their products are yummy! I’m so relieved to have found these so that my son can have pasta with everyone else at dinner time ☺️

It's really and truly disgusting. We are healthy and we love to eat healthy - thought this might be good to be "pasta" but it's SUPER mushy (even at the very most al dente you try to make it, it seems firm and within 5 minutes it's straight mush). Don't even bother, it's pretty damn awful and for the price it's REALLY not worth it.

This is my second purchase of KNOW Rigatoni Pasta. My first bag was fine - The pasta was a nice alternative to brown rice or other pastas. This time when I opened the bag I noticed a horrible smell coming from the pasta. I'm not sure what chemicals they used to process this batch, but it smells nothing natural like the previous batch did. I'm still airing out my apartment, as I went ahead and cooked the pasta hoping that it might still be good, but when I tasted it - I'm not sure what they've done to change it. KNOW - please go back to your previous processing methodology as I will never purchase any of these products again as long as they have this chemical smell associated with them. Note: There was no tear in the bag whatsoever and it didn't looked tampered with in any way.

this pasta was pricey and the teenagers did not love it so may look for other options.

Really hard to cook it properly. It turns to mush pretty quickly. The taste is okay but the texture is nasty.

I'm the type of person who reads all the reviews before buying and while these weren't great reviews I've worked with enough consumers to know that sometimes peoe don't always pay attention so I decided to take a chance. If you cook these noodles EXACTLY as the instructions say they turn out perfect. No mush, no weird texture and they taste just like whole wheat noodles. Rapid boil, put noodles in for 3-4min (I did 3 and a half,) and immediately drain them. They were PERFECT!

Absolutely appalling! I cooked them according to directions. By the time they were “finished” cooking the water was a thick and the noodles were still hard! I tried to strain them and the “sludge” that had been water was too thick to strain off. They tasted like play dough that had been left out for days and covered in slime. Needless to say I tossed the whole pan out. I’ll never waste my money on them again! YUK!

I didn't realize this was made from chickpeas, which isn't *exactly* paleo. I don't really care about that aspect but this pasta causes a little digestive discomfort. I love other products from this brand and the texture of this pasta was fine, but I probably won't order it again.
