My old speeds from a usb wifi stick were well under 20Mbps. Additionally, my USB ports would power cycle randomly through the day (like right in the middle of a game!) so a usb wifi stick was less than ideal for me. I replaced it with this PCIE card and it performed well beyond the usb wifi stick ever could. Here's my speeds from different tests (note variance may be due to the connected server or background activity): Fast.com (full results): Latency 13 ms Download 110 Mbps Upload 5.6 Mbps NOTE: Latency and upload are shown if you click 'Show More Info' at the bottom, otherwise Fast.com will only show download speeds. Speedtest.net: Ping 8 ms Download 104.22 Mbps Upload 5.96 Mbps Google Speed Test: Latency 16 ms Download 97.0 Mbps Upload 5.86 Mbps So not only do I now have improved speeds available, I no longer have to deal with my usb issues. Sure, my keyboard and mouse might disconnect mid game, but at least I don't get kicked out of a match. When gaming, wifi issues are by far the worst.... so I'm extremely happy with this purchase. Also install was easy as with any PCIE part. Open the case, remove the metal sheet, install the card, add antenna, done! It also came with an extended I/O shield for those who may need it. While this does come with Bluetooth functionality, I did not connect this feature. I do not have any Bluetooth devices so for me it's pointless to have and only poses an additional point of attack (not to say Bluetooth isn't safe to use, just that I don't use it so why even have it available). As for the Wifi functionality, I am extremely happy with the results. It should also be noted those speeds are with the antenna attached on top of my PC. I have a wall and a couch/TV between myself and the router. So while I am testing from a separate room, the path is fairly clear compared to some setups. I do believe it would perform well even from a further distance, but I have not tested this definitively. However, I do hope my review and results help someone out there.

As of December 7 when I installed and booted up the computer I built for the first time, this part worked from the start. Windows often will install drivers for parts from some sort of database. While the drivers will typically be out of date, it still worked out of the box. For those wondering, the hardware is actually a Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260, according to my device manager. So if it's sourced from Intel, you know it is meant to be quality. I've had the chance to game on this card. I've been playing several intense shooter games and it works amazingly. I've noticed nothing out of the ordinary. My ping is great. The speeds are what we pay for straight from Comcast. Note how I said it was fairly easy to install. The card itself was simple. Just slot it into a PCI Express 1x slot and you're good. One issue I did have was plugging in the Bluetooth portion of the card into a USB header on my motherboard. It just was kind of hard to plug in a little because I couldn't really grip it. That's just me though. Not a huge issue. I do love that it has bluetooth connectivity. I wish some of those "higher end" PCIe wifi cards came with it. It's unfortunate that they don't. Overall, I'm impressed and satisfied with this product from ASUS. Well worth the money. Great value and great performance.

I am looking for wifi and bluetooth card and this is just perfect for me. It is working on Windows 10. Download the driver from ASUS website beforehand and I just install the wifi card to my PCiE slot and it works perfectly without interruption. I'm using this card on a new PC build, and it functioned properly from the beginning with nothing more than installing it into a PCIe 1.0 slot on the motherboard and hooking up the dual-band antenna. The integrated Bluetooth works great as well and I am very satisfied with my purchase.
