I expected a thin cotton gauze, figured for this price (~$10 U.S.) I could double it over a few times. It is MUCH thicker than that, a nice cloth, not at all gauzy, less thick than padding but I didn't order - or pay enough - for that thick. It looks exactly as pictured on the seller's page. Cloth looks extremely clean but I put it in the wash anyway - then read the insert saying it didn't need washed, it was ready to use as is. Another pleasant surprise, I will be using it for castor oil and the packs made for that all have to be washed before using to remove manufacturing chemicals - but this cloth did not require that extra work. 2 edges are selvaged; the other 2 are not but do not look prone to unraveling. I intend to cut it with shears because I don't want to hem the edges; the fabric weave looks more than thick enough for it to be fine. I love that I don't have to trade off my extra work vs. longevity of use or loss of product, thanks to the high quality of the fabric. The material is baby soft, pliant and free of any chemical - or other - smell. Size is 60 inches x 36 inches, as stated in the product info. I have not used it yet, but I purchased 2 sets of organic cotton pads from the same seller appearing to be made of the same cloth; those pads have been nicely absorbent of thick castor oil and not prone to leaking through. The seller included a wonderful note backing up the quality with a satisfaction guarantee and contact info - I wish all sellers on Amazon did this. I have faith that the quality and purity of this cloth is exactly as stated, and exactly what I bought, and at a good price. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I bought this fabric to make burp cloths for some friends that are having babies soon. This fabric is perfect! It’s so amazingly soft and is very easy to sew. I will definitely be ordering more!

I use a castor oil pack regularly and I do not reuse the cotton. So I buy it a lot. This company provides a great cotton flannel It has this note from the company owner letting you know that its pre washed and ready to go and it is!! No funny smells or discoloration. I've purchased many times and will continue to buy Super soft and absorbent! I'm very very happy with this product and it comes quick- which is super helpful

This material is quality. It's definitely soft, not real thick, and it's easy to cut in squares for facecloths or dusting cloths which were my two main reasons for ordering it. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
