I couldn’t be more impressed with this leak detector. The cabled version is fantastic value, effectively giving you three sensors in one. The engineering is smartly thought out — the top-mounted sensor sits in a dished recess, which cleverly allows drips to collect and trigger the alarm more quickly. It also has a built-in alarm for immediate local alerts, which is a lifesaver if you’re nearby. Connectivity is excellent: it works flawlessly with the SwitchBot app and cloud services, but it also integrates perfectly with Home Assistant via ESP32. In fact, setup with HA was even faster and more seamless than with the official app. Someone mentioned it didn’t work, personally didn’t have a single issue getting it to work. It was picked up by ESPHome instantly. I was torn between this and the Eufy option, but honestly this has far more bells and whistles, and the Home Assistant functionality is spot on — exactly what I needed for my setup. The build quality, design, and reliability are outstanding. I had the unfortunate experience of a copper pipe bursting (after rubbing against a rusty RSJ), which flooded two rooms in my office. I only wish I’d bought this device sooner — it would have saved me a lot of hassle. If you’re looking for a well-designed, highly reliable, and affordable leak detector, this is absolutely the one to get. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

This is a great little piece of kit that has helped me whilst away. It actually activated whilst I was travelling so I could send somebody around to have a look. Turned out to be a false alarm but thankful for it letting me know rather than coming home to a water leak. It’s easy to use and set up. The iPhone app is straightforward and uses notification alerts. I’ve had this for a few months and the battery seems to be OK. I have recommended this sensor to others and will be buying more in the future. A quick, easy, and cost effective way to protect yourself and your home!

The app (iPhone version) works well and was easy to connect to the sensor. The installation was easy and it connected to my WiFi/Internet without issue to allow me to monitor water leakage. I had some issues with it staying connected to the WiFi, but has now been resolved by customer services.

Hopefully it will never really sound the alarm but had it for a while and battery is still going strong. Tested it at the beginning and works great. Left it behind the cupboard so in case of any leak in that place will know straight away. Good value for money for a peace of mind. Sensitivity is great. Once metal pin get in contact with water it sound the alarm. You can set the loudness of the alarm in the app.

Purchased after a water leak on a copper pipe behind washing machine. Only discovered it when the kitchen floor was covered with water. Bought a set of 3 switchbot sensors, easy to set up, work well when tested with water across the contacts and the app appears to give a timely alert. Good to have but hope not to hear the alarm anytime soon.

So far so good. Easy to set up and worked when tested. It has yet to be triggered by flood water so fingers crossed!! Good value tool for peace of mind.

Unable to connect to WiFi after 2 hours of trying. Have multiple 2.4g devices on my WiFi network so I know it's not the WiFi that's the issue. Customer service is impossible to track down. Will send back.

Ho acquistato il rilevatore di perdite d’acqua SwitchBot a gennaio 2025 per installarlo vicino alla caldaia, così da prevenire eventuali perdite o gocciolamenti. Dopo diversi mesi di utilizzo si è dimostrato un prodotto affidabile e molto utile. L’installazione è semplicissima: si configura in pochi minuti tramite l’app SwitchBot, senza bisogno di hub, e può essere posizionato facilmente anche in spazi ristretti. Il sensore rileva immediatamente la presenza di acqua e invia notifiche istantanee sullo smartphone, oltre ad attivare un allarme sonoro ben udibile. Ottima anche l’affidabilità nel tempo: nessun falso allarme e batteria ancora in ottime condizioni. Per chi ha una caldaia in casa o in un locale tecnico, è una soluzione pratica ed efficace per aumentare la sicurezza e prevenire danni. Rapporto qualità-prezzo eccellente. Consigliato senza dubbi.

El SwitchBot WiFi Sensor de Agua es un dispositivo inteligente que cumple perfectamente con su función. Ya tengo detectores de otras marcas en la cocina, junto a la lavadora y el lavavajillas, pero me decidí por este modelo porque SwitchBot está destacando en el sector. Su aplicación es intuitiva y permite una configuración rápida, además de utilizar un tipo de pila accesible. Lo más importante para mí era que emitiera una alarma potente en caso de detectar agua, y lo hace de forma impecable con un sonido ajustable. Lo he instalado junto al desagüe del aire acondicionado, ya que en ocasiones se emboza, y la tranquilidad que aporta es inigualable. Además, su certificación IP67 garantiza resistencia al agua, y el hecho de que no necesite un hub simplifica mucho su uso. Sin duda, una compra recomendable para proteger cualquier espacio de posibles fugas.

initial issue: I placed the batteries, and tried the sensor cable, it straight up doesn't work, the sensor on the front of the device does, but no the back and the sensor cable, useless Edit: there are tiny pins behind the device, if you realize that your cable doesn't work either, push the pins forward with something and put the cache back on this device is amazing, you get an alarm that you can tone down or straight up disable it, and still have the notifications on your phone, i use it in a 70L trash bin that i use to store water for aquarium water changes that i have marked with different quantities of water (20,30,40,50,60L) i placed the cable sensor in and hold it with a magnet on the exterior so i can adjust the height of it and get a notification when my RO water reaches the desired amount of water i need

Tras varios meses de uso he de indicar mi total satisfacción con el producto. Compré un pack de tres tras haber probado el producto individualmente. Los tengo distribuidos por la cocina, baños y lavadero, de tal forma que me permite detectar cualquier fuga de agua antes de que provoque un problema grave. Especial mención cebo hacer del sensor que coloque junto a la toma de agua de la nevera americana, gracias a lo que me di cuenta de una ligera perdida en el conducto plástico, que de haberse rodo habría provocado un escape grande. Indicar que además del pitido que emite el propio sensor, los tengo vinculados con mi aplicación Alexa, que me permite recibir una aviso de alarma a través los altavoces , además de la notificación al móvil que tengo configurado en la propia app de Switchbot. Por todo ello debo indicar que el producto es totalmente recomendable.
