This is part of a cleaning system for "current" Norelco rotary-head wet/dry razors. I've been using Norelco razors for over 3 decades. This is the biggest money grab I have seen made by the company, thus far. The wet/dry razors work as well as any Norelco product BUT, the cleaning requirements when used wet are irritating to cost prohibitive. A lubricating cleaner, of some kind, must be used. Regardless how thoroughly you clean the razor after a wet shave, the works will gum up. Thus, this product. It works. What more do you want. I am certain a knock-off of this item will work as well. Have to use the cleaning compound regardless. Still a fan of Norelco Rotary-head razors; not too happy about "required" peripherals...

Works with my norelco 5588, There is not much to say about this as it is exactly like the one that came with the electric razor.

Happy to buy this affordable pod. it seems no different with my old one. did the same work
