Great for my needs! Attractractive...
Boy did this bring back happy memories I had forgotten since my youth! Lol... The 1st time seeing The familiar Kodachrochrome yellow box was my 10th Birthday receiving my 126 Instamatic. Loved that camera! Then for my 13th Christmas I got the 110 which was slimmer with the flip flop light bulb bar. Then a brief encounter with a Kodak Disk camera, then on to a Kodak35mm for years...Then my KodakDigital in my 40s.To get another Box was so moving since I am currently in a long term care home and this is a perfect and easy way for me to have pics of Family and Friends off my phone without WIFI!!Pleaae don't take our Kodachrome away! Deb...P.s. Will set up and edit soon....

Great gift for non-wifi people!
Bought this for my 80 year old mother because she does not have Wi-Fi. It was so easy to load pictures and set up. And with the SD card card on back it can be easily removed her kids to add more pictures. It comes with remote but it automatically started shuffling through pictures when on. Easy to use. I think I only had to adjust to fit frame and it worked great ๐

Purchased for a memorial slide show. It's perfect!
I loved that this frame, after trying one other, was very user-friendly. I returned the complicated one. I have added over 130 photos to the memorial slide show and it will hold more, I believe. If you are looking for a frame and not necessarily interested in adding photos from friends, etc., like the other frames, but want a simple photo slide show this is perfect. I added my pictures to a flash drive. The slideshow came right up on the frame screen. I have preplanned my own memorial service beginning in 1984 when my husband passed away. Of course, some things have changed over time. I updated over the years. My two sons already appreciate that I am doing this for them. A slide show will be shown at the beginning of the service, and the frame slide show will be set up in the church family room where the dinner will be served after the service. A grandson will then keep the slide show frame for his own family to use. Other family members will receive a slide show flash drive.

Never worked to begin with
We purchased this to do one thing: Display pictures. We bought this in part because it doesn't have WiFi or app requirements (we don't want or need those features so this is a plus). When we got it we loaded into a 128 GB sd card a total of 9 pictures as a test. After powering on the device we press the power button in the back to turn the screen on. We navigated to the SD card icon using the controls in the back and selected the SD card icon as directed by the manual. However, unlike the manual which shows preview icons of the pictures, all the icons were black. When we try to select any of those icons nothing happens. It sees the correct number of images (9), but doesn't load them at all. When we checked the file manager we can see the file names, but if we open any image the screen goes black and everything freezes. No menus work at all afterwards. Not until we unplug it and plug it back in.We checked the Amazon support page which first suggests making sure we are using the correct format per the manual. Well, the manual says it ONLY supports JPEG files. Stupid, and would have been nice to know. There is no mention of this limitation anywhere in the product description. The fact that the FAQ tells you to check the format supported in the manual instead of saying JPEG there tells me they are trying to hide this limitation. Regardless, we are using JPEG files, but just in case we tried renaming and trying both JPG and JPEG and neither works. Then the support page suggests looking at the manual for the max number of files. The manual makes no mention of a max, but regardless we only have 9 images on the card. If that's too much there's no point in buying one at all so we assume it's OK.Then it suggests to delete it from the device which we couldn't find a way to do since it crashes on a black screen when selecting them to begin with, but we did delete them off the sd card and replace. The manual says that it can have problems with "certain larger capacity cards" but no mention of a max supported size is mentioned anywhere here or in the manual. We are using 128 GB which is small for modern cards, but since the product picture shows 32 GB we just ordered one and will test it out. Will update this review to say how it goes, but even if that works it's stupid that they don't disclose a lack of support for anything larger than 32 GB.The manual also suggests problems loading larger files, but the images are 423 kb in size which is small for a JPEG and while a suggested file size is not given anywhere, the product page clearly says it supports "HD" meaning "High Definition" so if it can't run a 423 kb JPEG without crashing it's junk so I sincerely hope this isn't the problem. We did not test the functionality for playing music or video because we don't want or need that. We bought a picture frame to display pictures. We thought to check for a firmware update, but the specific model number is nowhere to be found anywhere on the product page nor in the manual nor on the device itself. There's a number on a sticker on the box (X0047UT4T3) but that could be a serial number for all we know especially since this product page lists the model number for the WiFi version (which we dont want) as ASIN:B0CWNMPFMV which looks very different.Next thing we will do is email kodak after we test a 32 GB SD card and will update accordingly, but even if that does end up working we intend to keep this a 1 star review. Why? firstly, they are hiding core requirements from the product page (JPEG only) which is dishonest, second they are either hiding a severe limitation in supported sd cards, third they are hiding from both the product page and the manual incompatibility with some file sizes, and fourth because they advertise this as "easy to use" and "This user-friendly interface makes it easy for users of all ages to use, especially the elderly." but given the extremely specific requirements for it to function at all I absolutely would NOT give this as a gift to the elderly even if I could figure out how to get it to display images.Considering that this costs as much as an old model tablet, but without a battery, and instead just has a frame aesthetic and is wall mountable I would expect it to do the ONE THING that I need it to do - display pictures - very well. I'd expect high quality pictures that either just sit there or can cycle through as a slide show. I expect it to support multiple formats and even show gif loops. Instead it doesn't show images at all even of the one format it supports, the frame has a goofy kodak logo right on the face (real sleazy move that. No one wants a logo on the wood like border of their picture frame) and through the black screen I can see a yellow light bleeding through the edges very clearly showing poor quality overall. For the money spent on this it would have been cheaper to build my own frame to house a tablet into and just leave it plugged in.If there is ever a way to update firmware on this I would hope that they make it capable of doing that one thing I want: Display pictures of all the common formats.

Good product
Works well. Downsides: inputs are a little slow and no battery (needs to stay plugged in).

Finally one that will read external memory photos!
I've tried 3 other digital picture frames (the wifi ones that also claimed to read external memory), and none of them worked. Finally this on would read a 64MB USB drive (I didn't try a 128GB yet). I also gets the correct picture orientation, something others didn't always do correctly. Images are clear. Only downside is you can only play pictures or videos, not randomly play either.
