After several days of use, I've noticed relief from muscle tension and less discomfort in my lower back. The heat is gentle and pleasant, not hot enough to burn, and the session is relaxing. It's a good option for those looking for relief from muscle pain or mild inflammation without leaving home. As for improvements, I'd like the cable to be a bit longer and for it to include more intensity levels.

While I do use this myself and it works great for sore muscles and increased blood flow, I actually bought it initially for my cat who has a condition that affects the nerves in his spine (Feline Hyperesthesia). He LOVES it and his “episodes” seem to be less painful and intense. My older cat who has arthritis (gets jealous) and really likes it too.

Update!!! September 2025:Customer serivice at this company worked with me. They sent me a new controller. And, now, my red light pad works one again.. I appreciate them reaching out to me, and helping me with the problem. I bought this May 27, and here we are 3 months later, and it has quit working. Now, this is disappointing! It is not even used daily.

This is easy to use. It help with pain relief. I don’t sleep with it on but I do tend to fall asleep while using it sometimes. It’s very lightweight, durable and great value for the cost. Better to use at home than going to salon.

Sent it back. It was a nice size but not strong light strength for what I was looking for

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I’ve been using red light therapy for years. I have EDS, a connective tissue disorder, so I have frequent problems and joint degeneration. Red light therapy has helped tennis elbow, tendonitis, botched surgery healing, and to put off an inevitable knee replacement. RLT has been holding it off for 4 yrs now. If I stop using RLT, my knee will start hurting so much I have to put on a knee brace to be able to walk with more comfort. After a few days of using it, I can walk without the knee brace. I bought this unit recently because I got sick of holding the portable unit that I had and liked that this one is able to just Velcro on a body part. I frequently just put it on my knee, set the timer for 30 minutes when I go to sleep. It shuts off without fail. You can set it in increments of 5 minutes up to 30. It gets slightly warm which feels nice. I recently have started using it on my 16.5 year-old pitbull. She is getting very wobbly on her feet, as well as her back legs are starting to fail her and she falls occasionally. I’m hoping this will slow the progression of her legs failing her. She did seem to get up out of bed a bit easier this morning, but she may just be having a good day. I highly recommend red light therapy to everyone who is having pain. Some lights died after few months

I broke both feet 3 yrs ago and though the bones have healed the nerves and muscles are still recovering. This red light pad can be wrapped around my feet to help with the pain from the damage. I can also use it when my fibromyalgia or sjogrens flare up to help calm the inflammation down. It can also be used when I get a migraine to help with the pain. I like the versatility of this pad - time limits, red light level and flexibility of the pad to go where I need it. For all that can be done with this pad the price is great!

I’ve been using it for my knee for 2-3 months now. And it has helped a lot in dealing with pain. Having said that I’m not sure how much it works in the long run or as a standalone treatment over time. But i suppose the real answer to knee pain etc is physio. This is a great way to supplement it

Literal lo uso cuando tengo algún dolor de espalda etc y me quita el dolor inmediatamente
