Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle [Blu-ray] [Region B] [2017]

This is a funny, entertaining movie! I am old enough to have seen and enjoyed the 1st movie release of Jumanji, but this one is quite different from that one! The comedy in this one is terrific! It was well put together and thought out. The humor and "jokes" are right on, without being overly stupid-humor as is so common in many other movies. The plot works and the actors do a terrific job being believable. I bought the 3D version, as I happen to be someone who enjoys watching well filmed 3D on occasion and I am not bothered by headaches and such watching 3D, as many people are. However this movie is terrific without 3D as it is. I give this 5 stars and highly encourage you to see it. It has become one of my favorite comedy's. The original Jumanji was a fantasy adventure and is still a joy to watch. The reboot is just as good, but in it's own way. Lots of action still but played more for laughs. The adults portrayal of their younger counterparts is spot on. Enjoyed from start to finish. As soon as you hear the sound of the drums beating you know you're in for a fun ride. I recommend this for all ages, though there are a few small scenes Jack Black has that parents my cringe at explaining to very young children.

Brilliant follow on film from the’Jumanji’ What’s not too like, adventurous, comical family fun film

Good movie. DVD is in top condition.

I have watched the original film many times and love it,so i was a little apprehensive when i heard they were doing a sequel.I actually ended up enjoying this film even more. All the actors are brilliant and it is so funny. Of course the special effects have improved since the first one was made and they have used it to their advantage. It's so good to see Karen Gillan in a bigger role. She was great as Amy Pond in Doctor Who(Matt Smith) and she was brilliantly over the top in Guardians of the Galaxy but here she certainly keeps up with the other stars of the film. Hope to see a lot more of her in the movies.

TBH i thought this was going to be rubbish, after watching Zathura i never wanted to watch another one as it was rubbish, but i saw a clip of this one and watched it, and i kinda liked it, so i would recommend it.

This is a great family fun movie by itself, and the 3D packs an extra layer of depth and enjoyment. The 3D is well done and deep enough for some really engaging visual effects — not too “flat” and inconspicuous, with some effects popping off the screen very satisfyingly. I didn’t notice any artifacts or odd depth effects that occasionally mar some 3D movies. The 3D version is worth it — grab this and some popcorn for some time well spent.
