These work great in Stucco but will not work in brick.

So, I own a lot of art and some of it is just stacked in my basement. With these hooks, which I got just recently, I have already turned my basement stairwell into a place that fits in with the rest of my house. I rotate paintings and art around and I had several some paintings of nature landscapes not being used. So I grouped them together and within a few minutes I had a gallery wall. And the best part is how easy these go in with a hammer and how secure and sturdy the hook is - I don’t have to worry about my paintings coming lose. I wish I found these years ago! Please note - my basement walls are a hard plaster that’s been painted. I don’t think there is concrete behind the wall - not sure as it’s a 100+ year old house. These did not work in my upstairs rooms that have regular plaster walls. I can’t deduct any stars as these are called “concrete” hooks, not “plaster hooks”. I’ll update the review once I’ve tried these on other surfaces. If you’re unsure if these will work, buy them anyway because I didn’t know either and now I’ll be able to turn my whole unfinished basement into a gallery of my paintings and artwork that I’m not currently using - it’s so nice seeing my extra art on walls rather than stacked up on the floor where they take up space and are more likely to get damaged.

Kinds difficult to nail in but once done works Great in stucco.
