PfisterS10-2300 3 Handle Rebuild Kit

This was a perfect match for my Price Pfister three handled tub shower. It included everything I needed to install it except for the cartridge wrench and the brass seats, which I also purchased from Amazon. It looks good and it’s high-quality. Everything is metal. No plastic and a very reasonable price compared to the home stores thank you, Amazon

This valve set was the perfect replacement for one that was caked with scale. Getting the old one out was a PITA because one of the valve seats was stripped. The new one was easy to install. It looks and works great. I used pipe dope on the valve seats and one layer of Teflon tape on the valve bodies. This set was cheaper than other Chinese sets from online plumbing supply places.

I am not sure if this will be rust resistance and resist chipping, but the quality seems to be good. Used this kit to replace 30 year old shower faucet. Works well, with no issues.

Good value. I needed to replace just one stem valve but, after an extensive plumbing aisle search, I learned it wasn't stocked at my HD and I got no help from the HD plumbing aisle manager. This item is a guaranteed fit and is price competitive with my local DIY box store. This is an OEM replacement kit for my 65 year old shower for both Hot/Cold supply lines and the Tub/Shower Diverter. I comparedd it to a generic version and it's well worth the extra$5 or $6 bucks for the OEM version. The Handles are more clearly marked "H" and "C" and there is the assurance of a better fit for all the component parts. It is complete rebuild kit, including valve seats, valve stems, all required washers, and handle assemblies. The generic version included a shower valve socket wrench but I already had one of those so it wasn't a factor in my decision to purchase. I highly recommend.

Wasn't sure who the manufacturer of the original unit was, but after removing the hot and cold stem, saw that they were marked "PP" and "3204". Figured that the "PP" was for Price Pfister, and after some internet sleuthing decided to try this rebuild kit. Turned out to be the correct replacement kit, so if your valve stems are similarly marked, this kit SHOULD work for you (although YMMV). I didn't need the diverter valve stem but I was happy just to get the correct parts for the hot/cold valves. Also nice that the valve seats are chromed brass, which might help to slow wear/prevent leaks. Some Lasco valve seats I also bought (to have some extras) aren't chromed, even though the Amazon pictures show them as chromed. The escutcheons and knobs complete the kit and look good. Very happy with this purchase.

I had been dealing with leaking, hard to turn, or loose handles in this shower for years. I had tried replacing them multiple times with whatever the local home improvement stores stocked and basically was just swapping one problem for another.Until now.The name brand (Black & Decker / Price Pfister) product I purchased from Amazon works SO MUCH BETTER. The faucets turn freely, they shut off firmly, the diverter valve works properly. I know this praise might sound silly if you haven't lived through it, but just skip that hassle and get this name brand replacement to get it done right the first time.Install took about 20 minutes. I did use a special socket and seat wrench that are not included. The kit has a quality feel to it, the handles and flanges are metal, the valves bear a genuine Price Pfister stamp.My only comment is that this kit has round flanges / escutcheons and my old setup had oblong. I was not able to thread the old ones onto these new valves, which could be a problem if your setup also uses oblong openings for the shut-off valves. The flanges included with the kit will work well to cover any opening up to 2.5" wide.

I actually bought this set to replace some shutoff valves in my laundry room (1971 dayranch). I identified the set from the handles. It all fit perfectly. The escutcheons were a perfect fit as well. It saved me from having to tear out the wall.If your handle set looks like those in the picture then there's a good chance that this will fit and do the job.Well worth the price, as these are very well made.
