I wear a lot of baseball caps, and no, not because I am balding! I have just always liked them and the way they can be tossed on at a moments notice when my hair is less than perfect. I have a variety of hats, but I had no good ones for my alma mater, Purdue University. (The only ones I had were picked up at truck stops in Indiana many years ago, and they were worse than you might even expect.) My girlfriend ordered me this Purdue cap and solved that problem for me. The cap is a low profile style, so it fits closer to the head rather than standing up like its just perched on top. This provides a more secure fit, and a much more attractive profile (as far as my tastes go). The fit is adjustable by means of Velcro straps in the back. The Velcro provides a reliable hold and highly specific adjustment. (As opposed to the common plastic straps with holes and protrusions that click in, limiting the options you have for fine tuning the fit.) The bill is flexible enough to bend to my preference, but firm enough to hold the bend without requiring constant rebending. The materials seem to be of good quality and likely to last. I have not yet run it through the washer and dryer, so I can't comment with certainty on the outcome, but I don't anticipate a problem.

As a Kansas Alumni, my Wife purchased this hat for me several years ago. I love it for golf in the warmer months because it is light weight and white to help with the summer sun. It’s well made and holds up well in the washer and well with the money.
