Must needed product if using any type K plugs with no type K ports. Perfect for my multimeter that needed to plug a type K thermocouple into. Most meters will come with one but if not, this product is the way to go. Material is pretty durable plastic and fits into my meter tight. Obviously can break like any product so take care of it and it will last!

As an HVAC tech, this tool broke in two weeks on the job. It works well enough but ultimately broke extremely easily; rendering it useless. Get the fieldpiece K-type clamp instead

To test accuracy I place an ice cube right from freezer in the clamp jaw, almost immediately temperature was 32 degrees. Would recommend to a friend. I need it in hvac SC, SH. Verified purchaser. I bought this clap to replace my first Klein temp clamp and this one did the same this the first one did as you see in the picture. The plastic is cheap and snapps under the weight of its own spring. I bought this one before the winter leaving us and haven't used it till now. It sat in my bag, in a save, well guarded place, cause I thought I broke the first because of the place I kept it, in an outside pocket of my bag, but that wasn't the case. This one went unused and first time pulling it out, it was already cracked. Went to clamp it on suction line, and it just gave. Passed the point of no return as of October so thank Klein for not backing yalls products. Yall really should just stick to yalls electrical and leave the A/C tools alone cause feildpeace has a much more durable clamp than yall's. So buyer beware, take it from me and spend a little more and get you a feildpeace

Fits the EEVBlog (Brymen) BM786 DMM. The BM786 is a wonderful meter, but it doesn’t have the standard thermocouple connector. This adapter works perfectly to take a standard flat-blade thermocouple connector and connect it to the banana plug inputs of the BM786. I can’t attest to the longevity yet, but I’m sure with some mechanical sympathy, it’ll be just fine for the infrequent uses I have planned for it. If my job or life depended on it, I’d go in a different direction, but for my uses, I’m sure it’s fine.

I purchased this to use with my fluke 902fc meter. It is nice because it comes with the k type adapter. I used it heavily for about a month with no compaints on its accuracy. I must say though be careful, as the jaws are weak. From a month of floating around in my tool bag (and my bag is not packed to the brim either, just the essentials) one of the jaws broke. I feel as if you keep this thing from being bumped and bruised, it will hold up for a while. I think I am going to try uei clamp on meter next and see how that works for me.

A must have for diagnoses - air conditioning. Very sturdy clamp, great connection and accurate reading. It’s Klein quality. Highly recommended.

This product does not record the correct temperature, it was at least a 4-5 degrees too low. And is very cheap looking for the price.
