Good idea

Purchased this for grilling litti.Used this but found not good for grilling litti or tomato or brinjal. Material got stuck to the base every time. The flame should be low while using it. And on low flame, it will take too much time to grill.On high flame, the metal would turn red in colour and litti will get black too quickly without proper cooking from inside.Also while grilling round litti, the shape of litti will flatten on switching sides for cooking. Size and weight is good. Easy to handle. Recently I purchased another product for grilling litti.

This is iron n not stainless steel. It gt burnt in less than a minute.

The mesh had been painted and when I placed the bajra roti to cook on flames , the paint stuck to the roti .
