Highly recommend this mouth piece as a way to lessen or eliminate deep snoring. They take a little getting used to as using them can shift your bite for a few hours after removing them in the morning, but I find that it corrects itself quickly. I recommend not biting too hard when you set your bite in the gel as it can make the gel splooge out too much. I use this device every night.

This mouth piece has a few problems:1 only one size for each gender almost guarantees that it will not fit your unique jew width and length.2 plastic material touches teeth, is not comfortable or flexible will make it painful to wear, teeth hurt in the morning3 mouthpiece has a hole, which during the night makes you breath through it and not the nose, making your mouth dry and your teeth exposed (our saliva help keep teeth healthy, dry mouth is bad for teeth).not being able to return this, is a win win situation for both the manufacturer and amazon, each collect the pay , knowing almost no one will find the time to contact the manufacturer for a refund

This mouthpiece works! After more than 25 years of interrupted sleep, sleeping with earplugs, and moving to the couch, only to continue hearing my poor husband's prodigious snoring from the next room, we have found something that helps.Vital Sleep is easy to shape. Be sure that you bite deeply into the trays in the process so that the teeth can get a good hold on the mouthpiece. My husband didn't do that initially, and he was getting a white line on his front teeth. We corrected that problem by boiling it again and making sure that his teeth sank deeper into the trays. The white line is gone, and it also improved his comfort overall.The only problem we can report with this device is the adjustment screws that should bring the lower jaw forward. As other reviews of this product have stated, the screws are made of silicone, and they stripped immediately. We have been unable to perform the adjustment for the lower jaw. The device might work even better than we know if we could get the full function from it. Even as it is, though, I can give it four stars. The snoring is not eliminated, but it is markedly reduced. We'll be purchasing this product again and hoping for better adjustment next time.

It works but only lasts about a couple months before breaking. Company did replace the broken one at no.charge but the replacement also broke in the same amount of time.

Tried alot of guards, I've bought 4 of these over the year's, way better than a sleep apnea machine. If it's your first time trying, you'll wake up with a sore mouth, but that goes away

I really wanted this to work because I can feel my jaw relax when I sleep. Although the device has a hard plastic shell it gripped my teeth well and sat in my mouth comfortably. My husband did say he could still hear me snore with the device on. The first thing I noticed when I first used the device is when I took it out I felt a sharp pain in my jaw on one side. I could barely open my mouth and when I wiggled it, it was very painful. The pamphlet said there could be jaw pain, so I tried it for several nights and it just made my jaw pain worse. I could not eat comfortably at all. After a week, my jaw still hurts. Anything that needs my mouth to open or bite down hurts; yawning, eating, sneezing. It might work for some, but for me it did not. I stopped using it after 3 nights and I am trying to get the refund.

Adjusted it twice and now it’s jammed. I brought the bottom out 6 marks, then brought it back in to 2 marks, and now it won’t budge. I adjusted each side 1 mark at a time so as to avoid it getting twisted and jammed but it jammed any way. I couldn’t even test it properly. Maybe I just got a lemon, but since it broke before I could take it for a real spin I’m giving it one star.

I decided to try an OTC mouthpiece on my doctor's advice. There is no way I could tolerate a CPAP mask & I wanted to try this before spending hundreds of $ on a custom fit from the dentist. I tried a different mouthpiece that was so bad it left my mouth sore. The VitalSleep was easy to mould to my mouth & comfortable to wear, after a few days of getting used to it I was able to wear it all night. Obviously results will be a little different for different people but almost totally eliminated my snoring.Edit: I had an issue with the adjustment screws, the seller responded to the message within hours & immediately sent a replacement mouthpiece. Excellent customer support and service!
