Insta360 X4 Mic Adapter

This fit my X4 exactly as stated. Very veery happy with it, and the ease of connecting is super. Snaps directly into the side the X4 camera and holds on thru snow skiing all day. Nice product and highly recommend for a wireless receiver adapter. Sound Quality is remarkable and true.

Works as advertised it provides the ability to charge and add an external mic line. Works great.

Great product! My biggest plus is that it is easy to install and remove, and also works perfectly around the cage I have. You couldn't ask for a better value. I have it to connect my mic mini receiver and the sound quality comes through perfectly, and I haven't noticed any change in battery life vs using a Bluetooth mic.

I use my Insta360 X4 mounted on the front riding light bar on my Harley Davidson Ultra Limited. The purpose for buying this adapter was to permit a wired microphone or to mount a wireless microphone transmitter so I could comment from inside my helmet during long rides. Functionally the adapter does a great job. I can plug in a wired bayonet mic or wireless mic transmitter and can also plug in a USB-C power cable or USB-C mic cable. Where my issue arises is in strapping the cables or wireless adapter in such a way as to be completely out of the camera view. The Insta360 has a front and rear lens to provide the 360 degree video recording which means that anything that sticks out too far moves into the range of view. The adapter protrudes on the side which is in the camera blind spot and by itself is not visible. When I plug in a wireless mic transmitter it sticks too far out and is in the video shot. Likewise, some cables if they protrude straight out the side can get in the video view. Also, if the slack wires are not tightly wrapped around the mounting pole or are not carefully tucked in they too appear in the video. As I mentioned, the unit works perfectly for power and sound, it is the size and means to connect to microphones that generate my challenges. Obviously, it is desirable to secure the wires and cables to keep them from flapping and/or wiggling loose, so the need to tightly secure is not my main worry. What happened is that when reviewing my first video I saw this strange hook curved image that I first thought was the mounting pole. I worried that the camera or software was damaged. Closer look revealed a USB-C power cable that was in the field of view. This made my video useless unfortunately. My work around was to use a number of small Velcro straps in several places to tightly bind the wires to the lower camera and mounting pole. I found that a right-angle bayonet plug worked better for wired microphone. Wireless mic transmitters were another problem altogether. This doesn't reflect badly on this adapter but nevertheless is a problem needing a work around. The transmitter is large and needed to be secured in just the right spot directly beneath the camera to keep it out of sight of the lenses. I also had to purchase a right-angle bayonet adapter to keep the connecting wire out of sight. I'm interested in comments and ideas. FINAL THOUGHTS: Functionally this adapter works perfectly, and it has never wiggled loose even on my radically vibrating Harley. Five stars there. The one star deduction is due solely to the challenges in actually connecting microphones. The USB-C power and USB-C Mic wires connect with no impingement on the video, so it is only things that plug into the side mounted bayonet jack that create any problems for me. Works well and stays connected. Would recommend to new insta 360 users looking to hookup a Bluetooth mic.

Works as it should and is very tough. I've had three crashes where the adapter was ripped off my DJI and it still works fine.

Qualität ist ordentlich und bisher arbeitet es sehr zuverlässig. Klare Kaufempfehlung, lasst die Finger von billigen Kopien.

niente da dire se non che è comodissimo, suono chiaro e pulito, non si scollega accidentalmente (l'ho usato per 9 ore di viaggio su insta 360 X4 e non ha fatto una piega... non dovrei dirlo perchè c'è scritto dapertutto, non usatelo se piove...
