We'd never used a wheelchair until a few weeks ago, and found the straps purchased a very good purchase. Mum is in her mid 80's and only tiny, but when going over bumps or downhill, felt quite vulnerable, so being held securely in place by the straps was reassuring. Comfy and don't cut in to body. Would recommend.
